We've really struggled against Wycombe in recent seasons. Two draws and four defeats in the last six matches I believe.

Time to break the trend but those stats make me nervous for Saturday.
 
I can't help but think back to last season when we were away to Wycombe after beating Ipswich. There was a final fleeting hope (for some) that Robbo might finally turn it round and give us a respectable run-in to the end of the season. And then he went and changed the formation and we feebly (iirc) lost 2-0. I acknowledge that many fans had seen the light by then, but that was the final straw for me. It was as if he deliberately tinkered with formations just to try and show fans that he knew best, not them. We still had to endure another dire month after that capitulation, of course...

Optimistic for better things this Saturday!

@Scotchegg, @OUSP, can you see if you can use your position to prompt the club to get something out about this on the club socials?

@Shev, is there some sort of collection bring done for the family? If so, can you let us know details, I'm sure a lot will put in from our side.
 
Every game is huge until you get enough points to be in the play offs and you can't get caught ,just don't lose .We need to be strong and not get bullied ,Goodwin to score the winner.
 
Was speaking to an electrician at my work the other day, doesn’t really follow OUFC but said to me “you’ve got High Wycombe next weekend?” And began a story of getting a hospitality ticket through a client.

Loved he kept calling them High Wycombe, I had to laugh 😂
 
Only ground in the world I`ve been thrown out of by their stasi aka Stewards.

Walked round the back of the stand, in through an open door, and went back to where I was. :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:
 

Bolton beat them but Wycombe should have scored on many occasions as Bolton were opened up time and again.

Harassing us will be their afternoons entertainment. I don't like the reserved seating thing but I'd advise fans just to do it to avoid being thrown out, £28 is a lot to waste, I've seen fans thrown out before kick off there.

They did post it on the Oxford United FB page, but the FB algorithm will have worked it's usual wonders to hide the things you want to see. I've just shared on OUSP FB.

Pretty embarrassing this hasn't sold out when we usually have a pop at Wycombe for not giving us more tickets.. Online sales obviously haven't helped, but we have had home games in between.
 
We're gonna get thrashed unless we tighten up in midfield. Really sick of being second best to that lot.
