So in the space of a week Ian Wright gave tips to the team who slipped bottom of L1 and Watford who lost 4-0!

Just had a look at the league one table from Oct 7th last year interesting, I know we're not good at the moment but if it comes together a look at this gives some perspective I feel.

Walsall 1-1 Shrewsbury Town - http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/41450708
I hope the link works, not good at this sort of stuff. Scroll down when in the link past the match report
Very interesting league table! Plymouth actually had a point less than we do. And MK Dons we’re sat confortably in mid table. Only one of the four teams sat in the relegation zone ended up dropping. It’s not all over but obviously Robinson has to get things sorted now

It's reasonably encouraging, but to be fair, 6 of the teams in the bottom 8 then did finish in the bottom 8 at seasons end. Add Walsall and it's 7 of the bottom 9 at this point last year finished in the bottom 8 come season's end. Plymouth are the only team you could say really turned it around.

Obviously its only the bottom 4 that matters but I'd rather come April we're not in a position like we were in after the Fleetwood home game last year.

Despite earning a draw, at a ground we never usually do well at. KR still has to go! Woeful campaign so far.

We mustered one shot on target through 90 minutes of football. It’s not good enough!

Southend only had one shot too. I havent seen a detailed report yet on how individual players did. This debate is just going round in circles - I don’t think he’ll be sacked so just get behind the team.

Bottom of the table. One win. On course for 25 points and relegation. And people still think he should stay?!?!

Last season the final relegation place was Oldham with 50 points, so if we stay with KR, we could end up with half of that.
The whole season has to be put in context.
With over a quarter of the season gone, we are in a dire situation with a manager who blames everyone else, even training pitches for the situation we are in, rather than realising the team is picked and tactics decided by him and his two stooges.
The fact that we got a point against the poorest team I've seen all season changes nothing. We went bottom as well of course.

The people who suddenly believe that he's had a Damascus moment, and suddenly is potentially the saviour, is music to his ears.
The longer these people give him grace the worse the situation becomes.
Remember the "good bunch of lads" Patterson scenario. He was given far too long, some said give him time, and we all know how that turned out.
Yes we played a little better yesterday, but were still toothless up front, that was in spite of kr, not because of him.
Forget the fact we are bottom, the only thing that matters is how far in the relegation places points wise we are. Currently 5 points, a loss next week, who knows what it can be. It's taken us the best part of quarter of the season to get 6 points, getting relegated seems seemed more likely than not, thanks to kr.

All of the work MAPP put into the club to get us up, destroyed by an incompetent manager. If Carlisle was the high this has to be the low of recent years. But yeh, lets give him more time shall we?

I’m not saying everything’s honky dory and he should definitely stay, what I’m saying is it’s pretty obvious Tiger isn’t going to dismiss him from what Robinson said after yesterday’s game, so moaning about things is going to achieve nothing. Better to try and create as positive an atmosphere as we possibly can to give us the best chance of three points next week and league one survival in the long term.

Many people were calling for MAPP's head at this stage in his first season.

I agree the start of the season has been disastrous and if KR was to get the sack now he couldn't have too many complaints.

We gave Appleton time and he turned it around. Let's not forget that Robinson has a league 1 promotion under his belt.

If we continue the way we're going however we will go down. We don't score enough goals and make too many defensive mistakes.

I'm really not sure whether we should stick or twist at this stage.

I honestly don't understand the point of this post.
We are doing badly, that upsets you, you blame KR entirely.Fair enough. It's been said a million times.
Can't you just write that instead of the long drawn out whine?

I was speaking to a Charlton supporting mate yesterday, he stood with me at my local and saw we are bottom of the league, on sky support. He said and I quote" Get rid of that scouse no - hoper, he will blame everyone and anyone except himself, he will go on and still not change anyway the team plays, we at Charlton were so happy he left us for Oxford" My mate went on to say, get the whole management out, he will relegate you"
I rest my case. Get the whole management out, we are doomed and we are relegation fodder. So very upset, that all the work Mapp did is being torn to shreds. GOBBO OUT and the the rest of them.

I suppose that what I'm Suggesting is that creating as positive atmosphere as possible would be easier without a clueless leader.

“Peace = the acceptance of chaos not the avoidance of it” We can’t change the situation, so if one embraces that concept rather than resist it one will feel a lot happier with life. It’s a zen thing.. ?

Were we deep in relegation trouble, bottom of the table?
With MAPP, people could see what he was trying to achieve with a group of players he inherited. Come January, with his own players, things changed.
KR has his own players and its been a disaster.
