It was such a 70's colour too.It turned up on Oxford Memories on Facebook and I believe someone said it only worked for three weeks in 1974

Regarding Miller being the only one of the main candidates having stood before, I believe Middleton has also stood in a GE in the past. If this is correct then the reply does indicate that you cannot trust a LibDem.So I reached out to Cllr Miller on social media regarding the Heads of Terms and received this back from his people (part 1/2)View attachment 18668

Thanks for confirming that and highlighting that Middleton has stood not just once, but three times. Now this has to bring into question what Millers representative is telling us in the reply. Would I trust a LibDem? I wouldn’t trust any politician who uses local politics to further their political ambitions. We have a few of them in the area and not just in one or two of the parties.Correct. Our good friend Ian has stood as a Green Party candidate in three GEs (2015, 2017, 2019) for the Banbury constituency.
He’s lost his deposit every time and came last of four in 2019.
Basically a lot of fence sitting.
The LibDems will wait to see which way the wind is blowing. Personally I don’t think Cllr Miller cares one way or the other whether OUFC survives or not.
He won’t be getting my vote.
So you consider the Green Party nominee to be a "main candidate"....Regarding Miller being the only one of the main candidates having stood before, I believe Middleton has also stood in a GE in the past. If this is correct then the reply does indicate that you cannot trust a LibDem.

I want to believe that, I really do. But when you've got the likes of Miller holding up the process to "play for time" I have my doubts. We fully recognise the challenges facing OUFC and we are doing everything we can to help the club achieve a long-term home in the county.
At least you got a reply. Nothing more than the automated response here.At last, had my reply from Liz Lefferman re Heads of terms Delay-
Thank you for your email about the council’s discussions with Oxford United Football Club (OUFC).
The council is in ongoing dialogue with the club as regards heads of terms. As I am sure you will appreciate, projects of this kind are very complex and there is a lot of detail to work through.
We fully recognise the challenges facing OUFC and we are doing everything we can to help the club achieve a long-term home in the county.
Kind regards,
Liz
3attempts/ emails sent on different days- one of em eventually got a reply ... one automated reply to 1 of the 3 as wellAt least you got a reply. Nothing more than the automated response here.
As for doing everything we can, how about signing off the Heads of Terms and let the club get on with raising the finance? After all, Heads of Terms is not a legally binding document, it's a framework to get the lease ready for when the planning has been granted.
We fully recognise the challenges facing OUFC and we are doing everything we can to help the club achieve a long-term home in the county.
TBF - after the last consultation Oxfordshire CC cabinet are probably prepared - with a stock reply- for the deluge (?) of emails , this time re Heads of Terms , as they in the main via Liz L , had 'a few' during & after that last consultationUnfortunately it's a copy and paste job got the same email back View attachment 18684
Well said. The time for action is NOW from OCC.Do you though OCC?
Without the ground there will no longer be a professional football club in this county. This would please a few hundred of the counties population but the thousands who support the club and the thousands of the population who benefit from the club being in the county and contributing hugely to the local economy won't be.
Stop sitting on the fence and get a bloody move on before it's too late!
Not forgetting Clegg upturn on tuition fees and Ed Daveys brushing under the carpet of the postmasters scandal.Ah the Lib Dems all we get from them is 13 years of Tory miss government but they seem to forget for 5 years they where in government with them and could have spotted anything they didn't like
They seem to forget that
Also what's the first thing Nick Clegg does after losing his seat gets a job I think with Facebook
Trust them never !!!
Hope you don't mind I sent that back to LizDo you though OCC?
