Hi Ian, glad to have your half-truths back. The people of Kidlington didn't tell the club they weren't wanted there at all, as you well know. Despite your campaign of smear and misinformation you could still only get a tiny turnout to vote against the club. The VAST MAJORITY of people showed they didn't care one way or the other. But as a small-time politician, you try to spin the results.
is this the same Ian Middleton who absolutely refused to accept that OUFC's lease with the current stadium owner in 2026, who is now saying there was no question the lease expired in 2026 , with his typical spin added? ... asking for a friend
More desperate ramblings from a desperate man.
Ditto Haddenham and Thame parkwayI know of at least one Yellows fan who lives in Buckingham who is excited about the prospect of using the new Winslow station to get to the Triangle so it's not all away fans.
I don't want to keep making my original point but it is even simpler than what you have stated. The people of Kidlington were asked a binary question. They were asked whether they agreed with KPC supporting a new stadium in Kidlington. They were not asked whether they themselves were in favour of a new stadium in Kidlington. It is a completely different question. There could be a number of reasons why the majority of people who voted did not want KPC council to support the stadium. That doesn't mean they didn't want the stadium just not KPC to support it.Hi Ian, glad to have your half-truths back. I hope he realise’s there is a station in Tackley where he can get a train to Oxford and then on to Paddington, which goes know where near the Parkway station I believe.Won't somebody please think of Steveopedia and those oh so important trips to the theatre? Wow, just wow - thousands of people should be denied entertainment and millions in investment should be turned away so that Steve can go to the theatre as and when he fancies it. The entitlement is off the scale. I'm beginning to suspect Steve Hill is actually a parody account, it's so bizarre.Won't somebody please think of Steveopedia and those oh so important trips to the theatre? No, he insists on using Parkway just to make a point!I hope he realise’s there is a station in Tackley where he can get a train to Oxford and then on to Paddington, which goes know where near the Parkway station I believe.
Tackley - Didcot - Paddington or Parkway - Marylebone However, that would involve driving to Oxford Parkway, something, of course, local residents wouldn't have to do with all the lovely new footpaths and frequent buses running though Kidlington. (Yes, that would be environmentally friendly but, so what hey!)I hope he realise’s there is a station in Tackley where he can get a train to Oxford and then on to Paddington, which goes know where near the Parkway station I believe.
He is something else isn't he?
They are all entitled to their opinion as private citizens and can comment on the plans as such. He, Cllr Mawson, and Cllr McClean have predetermined anti-stadium positions so should be nowhere near the planning application.
How can I let CDC know that? In the response to the planning application or another method?
I absolutely loathe him.Classic Ian Middleton there, lots of spin, little substance to anything he says.
He tries to paint the club in bad light in any way possible, maybe if he had a more professional approach people would take him seriously.
