Well f*** me, the games been called off, so forgive me having a little dig at others expense, particularly the one poster who said they wondered when the first post about the game being called off would appear.

Extend the time to give the pitch chance to thaw but you look an idiot when it gets to 1pm and it’s still not in a fit state for play. Disgusting for Barnsley fans. If that was us we would rightly be going mental, unacceptable

But that's exactly what they did. Checked it early, extended the time and found it to be unplayable. If they're not sure in the morning it's better to call it there and then and save as many fans travelling as possible. Absolutely agree that it's a real stitch up for Barnsley fans and they can rightly feel aggrieved.
