Probably the easiest game of a busy few weeks so would hope we end up walking away with the 3 points.

Fancy Harris to continue his goalscoring form, 2-0 to Oxford

EDIT: And it’s postponed

Feeling confident, 2-1!

Despite recovering from the flu and my eldest just vomming, I wouldn’t be coming today but hope it goes ahead.

Frost in the garden is nearly gone and it's not even very cold outside - should be good to go I reckon.

For the first time this week there’s no frost on my car windscreen this morning.

The back garden test is unreliable and unscientific.

The car windscreen test is the only accurate way of determining whether our game will be on and I’m calling it as fit to play.

This is the post I was waiting for. Setting off now.

Notts county v Stockport has just been called off.

It’s the only certain way of determining this.

If I’m incorrect, I’ll pay the petrol/hotel room/helicopter hire costs of everyone set to attend today’s game.
What about the costs for inevitable therapy for the emotional damage caused by late disappointment?

I remember my carefree days where I just set off for matches regardless. Remember in our 95/96 promotion season set off for an away game at Burnley on New Years Day, knowing it might be called off. It was - ended up at Derby v Norwich instead. Appreciate it's not that easy for everyone.

When I was young and free I used to actually prefer setting off and getting a decent distance if the game was called off, at least you got a day out still, if it got called off beforehand it always ended up a boring day at home. I remember watching Hartlepool at home to Fulham after Newcastle away was called off, laughing at the 3 sided ground and patronising Fulham fans about the level of football they were playing at, they never came back to but me on the a**e.

Heard a rumour the pitch is unplayable due to the accumulative effect of the last few days especially the areas thar get little sun due to the shade of the stands. No sun forecast today hasn't helped. Just waiting for the ref to rubber stamp it.
