The kassam was built on the cheap if we were to buy it the north and East stand would basically need to pulled down and rebuilt it would cost just as much as building a new one plus 2 years of sharing a ground while the kassam is being rebuilt
No I know nothing and don’t pretend to! It’s just chat. But I don’t want to say anything that might be prejudicial.
The obvious temporary relocation is the MK stadium which is not going to greatly inconvenience fans from Oxford or elsewhere.
. We need to be in a completed and fitted out new stadium and hotel complex ready to start the 2026/27 season and we haven’t yet submitted a planning application.
It’s beginning to look a real possibility that we will run out of time
. I doubt we can rely on Kassam to help us out and it would be folly not to start negotiations with third parties who could,as soon as possible.
Yeah but it is nearer Bicester and that's where I live so MK Dons it is!!It’s further from Oxford than Wycombe?
East-West rail should be open by then, direct train from Oxford so easy to get to.It’s further from Oxford than Wycombe?
Bloody rightYeah but it is nearer Bicester and that's where I live so MK Dons it is!!
You really still think it’s getting built in time?Groundsharing needs to be a red line. Miller and that bloke from Stockport talk about their red lines with a road closure, but us trekking over to Buckinghamshire is a big NO.
The new line from Oxford to Bletchley will be open by then. MK’s stadium is a short walk away from Bletchley Station, which might actually make it the quickest and easiest ground share option to travel to.The obvious temporary relocation is the MK stadium which is not going to greatly inconvenience fans from Oxford or elsewhere.

MK Dons is technically it's own unitary authority so no trekking to Buckinghamshire required! Can also get all your IKEA stuff at the same time, reminiscing about the sanctuary!Groundsharing needs to be a red line. Hopefully. The talk of a groundshare is EXACTLY what FoSB want. You really still think it’s getting built in time?
And do your shopping at Asda next door.MK Dons is technically it's own unitary authority so no trekking to Buckinghamshire required! Can also get all your IKEA stuff at the same time, reminiscing about the sanctuary!
I do have a theory about the ground but won’t share it, it’s not backed by any ITK knowledge. I just hope there’s a lot of frantic and high level activity going on, and that someone has a plan for where we’ll play in 26-7 season!
See above. I’ll delete my postChrist on a bike, spit it out man.
Why would FoSB want that? If we had to share for a season whilst the stadium is completed they have still lost.Hopefully. The talk of a groundshare is EXACTLY what FoSB want.
You actually make some good posts but by continually putting Christ on a bike devalues them. Just my opinion.Christ on a bike, spit it out man.
