New Stadium Plans - The Triangle - Planning

The kassam was built on the cheap if we were to buy it the north and East stand would basically need to pulled down and rebuilt it would cost just as much as building a new one plus 2 years of sharing a ground while the kassam is being rebuilt

The obvious temporary relocation is the MK stadium which is not going to greatly inconvenience fans from Oxford or elsewhere.
. We need to be in a completed and fitted out new stadium and hotel complex ready to start the 2026/27 season and we haven’t yet submitted a planning application.
It’s beginning to look a real possibility that we will run out of time
. I doubt we can rely on Kassam to help us out and it would be folly not to start negotiations with third parties who could,as soon as possible.

It’s further from Oxford than Wycombe?

If and it’s a big IF we ground share then I’d imagine it would be MK as I can’t see Wycombe allowing us to ground share plus it is a nightmare to get in and out of.

I actually think Kassam would allow us to have 1 more year if it meant he got his houses at the end of it.

After all, he has always cared about the future of OUFC…

The new line from Oxford to Bletchley will be open by then. MK’s stadium is a short walk away from Bletchley Station, which might actually make it the quickest and easiest ground share option to travel to.

Groundsharing needs to be a red line. Miller and that bloke from Stockport talk about their red lines with a road closure, but us trekking over to Buckinghamshire is a big NO.
MK Dons is technically it's own unitary authority so no trekking to Buckinghamshire required! Can also get all your IKEA stuff at the same time, reminiscing about the sanctuary!

I do have a theory about the ground but won’t share it, it’s not backed by any ITK knowledge. I just hope there’s a lot of frantic and high level activity going on, and that someone has a plan for where we’ll play in 26-7 season!

Christ on a bike, spit it out man.

Where do you all live that going to IKEA and Asda is only doable if you go to Milton Keynes?
