The tweets would kibosh any hopes IM has of becoming an MP (imagine his ego if he did become elected. Hi Ian 👋).

I wish I had the time but I need to find some of the Nextdoor comments where Ian and Victoria have said that there are no links between FOSB and Cllr Middleton. We all know there have been but he’s either denied it or stayed silent.

@Billyox - have you got any of those comments bookmarked?
My job here is done

I've had messages from one person, who is very anti stadium apologising for IM's behaviour. They're wanting to distance themselves but due to the previous refusal to acknowledge IM's involvement they're stuck. This also corroborates other rumours. They are an FOSB supporter but are appalled by not only his Historical tweets but also his recent meltdowns.

They still hope for the stadium to be rejected but have a feeling it's going to happen due to the lack of promised support coming from locals. Nextdoor is no longer a safe space for them. (Their quote)

Morale is low, their faith in the "leadership" is low and they've commented that they won't be giving money anymore.

It’s quite ironic isn’t it that it will be Vicky and Ian who bring down FOSB all by themselves due to their behaviour, or lack of it.

Maybe in future they won’t be so quick to call football fans a bunch of thick hooligans.

They are not used to fighting a community. all they normally have to fight against is a developer who isnt going to go on to nextdoor to argue his case

It's interesting that we've both independently recieved almost identical messages, especially as I'm no longer on Nextdoor and barely use Twitter.

The opposition has collapsed, and it is entirely down to a small handful of individuals and their ego's. I actually feel sorry for those who have genuine concerns about the stadium who have had their fears exploited by Middleton and others for personal political gain.

Exactly this. I even attempted to explain this but the post got removed 🤣

While I was doing my research for @unification I came across a post now I won't name names on who posted it but it's the only reference that I can recall being said on next door so know I know who to blame for my love of wild flowers 🤣🤣IMG_20230917_203511.jpg

Hopefully the club will work closely with those who have concerns and are willing to engage in the spirit of cooperation.

If I were a partner in the law firm FoSB are using I'd be distancing myself sharpish.

If the stadium gets built, I would like to invite some the FoSB along to a game, I think perhaps that they haven't experienced the utter, joy, despair or bonding that football can bring to life

The ones I feel sorry for, even though they are against the stadium, are the ones who donated money to FOSB in the believe that it would be worth while and spent wisely. They have been conned by a small group of people who had their own agendas and have misled those people.

Said along they were conning there supporters for money there gofundme page has got £4k and what have they done with it printed off a couple of thousands leaflets which probably cost couple of hundred quid

Yup exactly this. We raised the issue of financial accountability right at the start of all this after information was passed to me verbally by a member of the press.

What happens if, for whatever reason, the council turn around and say 'NO'? Would we automatically appeal, or would that be the end of the road?
