Makes sense him.moving into another role in.the club. It sounds as if he doesn't want to go into coaching, but there are probably a few things where he could add value and get experience in.
Agree that it is odd that the club don't announce it, but maybe they want to agree everything with Baldock first?

I think it has been mentioned by the club or on here that he was interested in the recruitment side of things but could be wrong.

Great news Yanic has gone.

A couple more bits of deadwood to go. This has been a remarkable turnaround in this window. Hats off to the board/Owners, and LM and the recruitment team.

I didn’t think we could have it this good, and expected it to take two or three windows.

There’s still work to do but yes, considering the mess the previous amateur we had in charge left our squad in, we’re in a much better position now, and the board deserves credit for allowing Manning to fix a lot of the damage in this first window.

Got the same answer from him face to face. He's moving into a role with the club, not coaching.
I was also told that in the absence of an official club announcement, Baldock is just telling everybody he meets. No idea why the club doesn't just come out and make it official.

Avoids being seen as responsible in the clubhouse, on the links and in the wider world, I surmise.

Just based on their wages, not signing on fees, transfer fees, or any pay offs, the numbers for Yanic and Djavan are astonishing. They have a combined equivalent appearance record of 26 games, and that equates to £20,000 per appearance, per man!

I actually quite liked Djavan, but these two panic signings in particular show the complete mess we were in this time last year.

Negru signed Jan 23.

Not included Marcus Browne. Ciaron Brown I included because we signed him permanently last summer, ironically after not planning to go back for him following his loan spell.

When looking at it from the start of the season and how the squad was built. He would have been considered backup to Moore & Thorniley.

Agree, I can’t see any club willing to take a gamble on him, based on the last few seasons.. especially if the rumoured 8k per week is true…feels like we are stuck with him!
