As an example, these are some strikers I believe we should be looking at:
  • Josh Umerah - Hartlepool United
  • Mo Eisa - MK Dons
  • Dan Agyei - Crewe Alexandra
  • Samson Tovide - Colchester United
  • James Berry - Macclesfield
  • Charlie Kelman - QPR
  • Mason Burstow - Chelsea
  • Max Watters - Cardiff City
  • Harvey Knibbs - Free Agent
  • Sam Smith - Free Agent
  • Cole Stockton - Free Agent
  • Luke Armstrong - Harrogate Town
  • Alfie May - Cheltenham Town
  • Will Osula - Sheffield United
  • Lee Bonis - Larne
  • Ben House - Lincoln City
  • Kylian Kouassi - Sutton United
  • Dale Taylor - Nottingham Forest
  • Joe Pigott - Ipswich Town
  • Jay Stansfield - Fulham

It’s absolutely grates me, when people call Manchester United just United. It comes across as if they are the only one. It winds me right up. F**king hate it!
I was the recent culprit but I’m not really that precious about it. Personally I see Oxford as our identity as ‘United’ is something we share with tonnes of clubs and just as it isn’t special to Manchester, it isn’t to us, either. So I use Oxford when I refer to us. I apologise to those offended, should’ve been more appreciative of other views 🤷‍♂️🙋‍♂️

Yes you are missing the fact that whilst you’re paying Baldock say 3/4 k a week you then can’t get another player in if you don’t have that money.
That’s 150/200 k less budget for the year.
Same applies to Henry and Murphy and Wildshutt but at least they might get them to move on whereas Baldock is nowhere near if ever being” on the grass” to quote the manager who has put us in the s**t with these contracts
This is the exact point I was trying to make. Paying Baldock 3/4k per week when he isn't playing or even likely to is a complete waste of money. Pay him up and get somebody else in.

It comes to the same thing, if you have to pay him you might as well keep him around to perform club duties if you can think of any.

Most of those sides have current regular CBs who came through at football league clubs
Do they? Who are you thinking of?

I like McNally and he has a high ceiling but it's a massive step up from where he is now to playing for a club in the Champions League/Europa League places.

Manning wants to sign 3/4 wing backs as he wants to switch to a back three if we can get the recruitment right
This is crazy if true. We had the best right wing back in the league on the books and got rid of him because his wages were high - there’s no guarantee that new signings on less wages will be anywhere near as effective.

I think James Henry will sign for Gillingham this summer, free transfer

Not sure if mentioned but Josh McEachran has left MK, one of their better players who Manning brought in and was born in Oxford. Ball playing midfielder who can dictate play.

Wonder if Manning might be tempted.
I did hear about a week ago that he may be coming here, actually was told that manning spoke to him and said he would like him to join.
