Manager/Coach KREXIT: The 'Robbo Out' thread.

That’s when we had a decent board/management structure with a plan/direction, just wish I could say it about the incumbent ones
It’s starting to look like TW is just another KR yes man.

As I say, this inaction just exposes him as spineless and totally out of his depth.

Purely speculating here but do we think there’s a legal concern here as to why the board are so hesitant? Therefore it needs handling with particular care. The fact he’s going to Spain to unpack his personal problems just at the time we hear on the grapevine he’s getting sacked seems all too coincidental…

Are they worried about the ‘They kicked me while I was down’ case against them? Might also explain some of the public gushing about things not being his fault when clearly they are?

He’s brought the club into disrepute, he’s got no leg to stand on as far as that’s concerned

You know things are bad when the kitman is offering out fans and people are slagging him off, don't usually here much from or about that particular job normally.

Getting a bit mental that the club haven't put a statement out.

Didn’t somebody on here say that Karl’s agent is also a lawyer?

TW keeps using the mantra ‘One club not one man’ to protect Karl. He’ll probably use it on Friday. So why is he continually putting KR ahead of the whole club? It appears that, for TW, looking after KR is more important than looking after the well-being of the club.

There are no rules legally around that. If there are no illness/mental issues or protected characteristics. Personal issues are mitigating factors in performance management, but only that.

It's not going to happen is it.

I had hope that the interview with Nathan would be the straw that broke the camel's back, I feel as though it was a real mask off moment for KR.
So now our "manager" is allegedly in another country for personal reasons, "his" players given an extended time off (?), just 5 days before a massive 6 point game against rovers .

The fan base is basically unanimously agreed he must go. GF & TW should be aware that the longer they leave this situation to fester (4-5 months overdue imo) that the emotions which are growing towards the situation will not only be vented at KR but they will be equal targets for it.

Uncomfortable for them in the short term, but trust & what little relationship there was destroying for fans in the long term.

No sympathy. He took his eye of the ball in the summer while he was enjoying life with his new girlfriend, it's of his own making.

Ah, I've misread I thought that Monday was standard day off.

If not, it is absolutely ridiculous and symptomatic, IMO, of a manager who has been distracted since March last year.
Has this been sanctioned by TW and GF? If so then they are obviously not fit to run a football club. Have they not seen that we have picked up 1 point in a possible 21, are hurtling towards league two like a runaway express train and are playing like we have no clue how to play football. And the manager gets Monday off to clear off abroad!

An additional day off during a clear week isn't unusual after a Saturday-Tuesday-Saturday game week and that goes for every club in the land.

It's even possible that the 'usual' day off has been moved to earlier in the week off the back of 3 matches and therefore it isn't additional.

We've gone down the route of someone suggesting a reason for it and it being taken as fact again.

If KR has gone abroad and it's on a scheduled day off whether pre-arranged/moved or additional due to a 3 game week then I don't really see the issue. Days off happen across the entire season regardless of the on pitch form situation. If so, then they still train the same amount as a usual week.

But for me, IF it has been manipulated so that the recovery day/extra day off after a 3 game week is to allow KR to deal with personal issues then that would be ridiculous.

From the personal reasons side of things. I don't see why he'd need to go abroad to sort anything that couldn't be done when both in the UK especially given his flying situation.

CEO’s and chairmen don’t get involved in days off. That is always down to the manager and staff to decide when they give players days off.
When on a run like we are managers will try the approach of making players come in Sundays and train and only give them the Wednesday off but that rarely works in my experience and the other tactic, which seems to of been done here, is tell the players to have a few days off away from the club, recharge and come back with a clearer mind. I’ve actually seen a team get told to go away after a 5th straight defeat and not come back in until the following Friday, they then won on the Saturday, went on a run and ended up staying up.

I actually think it is good that everyone has a few days away and have a chance to step back and look at what is going wrong.
