They’re the puppets, not the decision makers.
So they're getting paid massive saleries, for being puppets & doing nothing.
Well , that's a waste of money then ???
What's the point of them then ??to report back to them, to say she said, I said, we said, ooh I say....

Exactly

Our team might be losing life under this manager, but our club would be dying without this board. Let’s not confuse the two.
They’re supporting the manager and not engaging with the fans, so I’ll say they are helping to kill the club too.

One of Karl’s favourite buzz words is ’clarity’.

Well I’ve not seen much clarity for the last 12 months , especially when it comes to recruitment, squad balance, formations, and team selection. In fact the opposite is true, it’s been muddled, chaotic, lazy and continues to be so.

There’s no coherent strategy and no clear thinking. Yesterday’s team selection and formation was an obvious example.

I wonder if our CEO has found out why ‘good people are leaving’? Why don’t they want be at our football club anymore?

Why are players being frozen out?

Why are our two expensive marquee signings in the summer either sat on the bench unable to get a game, or stating games but clearly uninterested?

The football side of the club desperately needs someone with fresh ideas, someone with clear, rational thinking, someone who will treat all the players equally, each given a fair chance.
As each winless game goes by, it decreases the chance of a new manager securing our league 1 status. The board need to act before it becomes too late.

Never posted before always just read all the comments, but think it’s time to finally voice my opinions and as they currently stand I won’t be buying a season ticket for next season not for me an two kids an my dad won’t be either I can’t stand to waste my Saturday watching the c**p being served up atm, even my kids are losing interest an it’s there first season. We been to a few away games but not as many as usual but everything about the club atm stinks. Unless something drastic changes that’s over 1k they won’t b getting from us
Same goes for me 2adults and 2 children will not be renewing next season

KR is killing our club and the board are watching it happen.

Football is such a small industry that staff are afraid to speak out - they have mortgages to pay - but the most experienced person still connected to the club has said he is the worst manager he has ever known in football.

He is rude and bullies staff, rude about past players (cannot understand the hype around Beano as ‘he only did it in the conference’).

Using his involvement in the Joey tribute last year, to keep him, is so way of the mark as he didn’t organise anything- just gaslighted the fans in the media and on the day.

The players are fed up, the staff are very unhappy and he believes he is untouchable. Tiger gave him several pay rises and the current board have been fooled by his chat. They haven’t seen and heard what we have over the 5yrs - he is dangerous for our club and they are helping him kill it.
Can't argue with any of that

These owners/board aren't irreplaceable. Now that a new stadium is on the cards we become a much better prospect for potential owners. We still have the world renowned Oxford name, all it would take is someone to come in build the stadium, bring a manager in to build a team to get us up to the top of the championship and grow the overseas fanbase. They would then be sitting on a gold mine.

There is a question whether we are now dying anyway with this board. Bakrie was relatively active, before the takeover, but since the change from SB to the Triangle (known months before the announcement), absolutely nothing. I’d personally rather we start again than watch the horror show of today and the slow painful death we are experiencing as a consequence of what seems an uncommitted Board.

Thanks for the initial, substantial investment, but without long term commitment, it is a sword in our side!

Don't really agree with that. The owners have concentrated on the stadium issue so without them, I don't think there will be any stadium option for alternative potential owners. If they pull out that's it I think. Anyway, I'm still not convinced that a new stadium is 'on the cards' given the miserable track record of the good people of Oxfordshire.
That's also the problem, with all attention of the stadium, the football side of things is ignored. We are treading water until the stadium is sorted one way or another. Problem is we are unsuccessfully treading water!

It's easy to become a billionaire. All you have to do is write down the next set of Euromillions numbers a day in advance, and then invest the winnings in the next Apple, Amazon and Google.

If your contact book is full of people with the means, ability and will to finance a world class stadium and the know-how to advance roughly one third up the football league, for God's sake stop holding out on the rest of us.

I'd suspect that most people who can do all that aren't going to have been sat around waiting for "the world renowned Oxford name" and a Council to say they'd start negotiating a lease as key missing pieces.

I think you're wrong there. OCC have agreed to lease to OUFC (the club). Its a bit like if the owners ever sold the club the lease on the training ground would go to the new owners.

Obviously it's not the correct time to change owners as the planning needs to go through as quickly as possible but something needs to change with the day to day runnung of club and the direction the team is going. This is as much damaging as not getting a new stadium.
