So transition is the new motif. The thing about Karl’s use of it is that he wants to make it sound as though he planned it. Does he think we’re all brain dead?

He sounded like a man who believes his job is as safe as houses, though.

It is. There is no doubt of that..there's obviously been a talk this week about transition such is the buzzword. When the only transition Robbo has co ordinated is from pretty decent to pile of shite.

Having a team in transition would suggest you are putting the foundations in place for next season.

Giving Bodin/Baldock/Henry 2 year contracts, whilst sending the supposed number 1 keeper out on loan and looking to shift the centre back you signed on a 4 year contract after 6 months doesn't scream transition to me...just poor squad planning.

Best of luck to whoever the new Head of Recruitment is, they're going to have to be pretty ruthless in dismantling the current squad whilst fighting to have their voice heard. Bringing in a Head of recruitment and allowing KR to steam roller all over it is a pointless exercise.

To my mind, the club should have a structure in place - if KR won't work within in that then move him on (he should have been moved on months ago for the results anyway). Going through this ridiculous performative act of 'joint decisions' etc is a waste of everyone's time and has led to regression that will take many windows to unpick.

That first sentence strikes a chill into my old jam tart, it's plausible.

The team that started was a lesson in footballing ignorance. Robinson out now.

Karl using the word “sensational” to describe our second half turn round is just beyond belief. Does he think we’re as stupid as him?
Yes, he thinks we’re a bunch of mugs. It is a sensatIonal point for him, but remember it’s the first point out of 15.

The interviews are utter delusion. They are purely aimed at the board as he clutches onto his untenable job.

Meanwhile us fans have to sit and watch utter dross, a mess of a squad and some of our decent players being severely let down.

Then we have the displeasure of listening to an egomaniac describe an entirely different match to the one we all saw. It's draining the life out of the fanbase, for what? So we can limp to safety whilst fans consider if a season ticket is worth it next season during a cost of living crisis?

There is money available, good money, where is the marketing for next season? Is this what we have to look forward to all over again next season? Our backroom staff are missing, the entire set up is borderline league 2 at best.

Get the staff in, show them them off, new manager, director of football, huge push for next season, sell this as the dawn of a new era, introduce yourselves and put your stamp on this football club.

Williams and Ferguson, you've arrived but I'm yet to see evidence of it. Show us something I beg.

Edit: Actually, I don't beg, just f*cking show us you're up to running our football club because I'm not seeing it. I'm not seeing ANYTHING.

I think GF and TW are in for a big shock in the summer. No one is holding a gun up to me so I will be spending my money and time elsewhere next season and I would assume I'm not the only one with this feeling. I haven't felt this disconnected to the club in my lifetime!

Why oh why are GF and TW falling for this s**t from KR.
The only reason I can think of is, They have been told from our backers he stays ( for now )
I keep telling you why

KR has a contract until 2024 ,the Board don’t want to pay him off until they absolutely have to it will cost them 400/500 k

They are hoping he will get another job

No job is going to fall in his lap, like QPR he had the job until questions were asked.
Don‘t believe money is a big big issue !!
Just think our backers are to remote from reality being so far away

I agree I'm actually questioning whether I can be bothered to go on Tuesday I was going to go today but I just couldn't be bothered in the end I don't get any enjoyment out of going to football at the moment it's a chore and unless things change I dunno if I will buy a ST next season

All those people chuckling away when I said the manager I would have here is Steve Cotterill, saying Karl was taking us to the promised land.

Not looking quite so smug now. A million times better manager than KR.

I did think of that when I saw Shrewsbury win again.
