Manager/Coach KREXIT: The 'Robbo Out' thread.

I think some will be disappointed if they are hoping for a change of manager anytime soon. I don't think we'll see anything before Christmas at the earliest.

Christmas will be too late to bring in a new manager with a chance to turn our fortunes around by bringing in players in January to do so. It was clear as day from the interview with the new chairman that we are aiming for the play offs at a minimum this season so if we don't improve in October and the injured players excuse can't be used anymore then Karl will be off.

We shall see.

We shall see.
Have to say I’m with Scotchegg on this one. I don’t sense any urgency to change things. And I do hear what people are saying about the ambitions that our new owners have. I just think they are - fortunately for Robinson - very considered people and will take their time to assess. Bakrie talks of it still being early days and that Robinson needs to be given a chance. I assume he means this season rather than KR’s time with us. And Robinson still talks as though he’s well in with the new hierarchy and that he’s at the forefront of the project. I think he still has far more ‘clout’ than we, as concerned fans, would like.

Kr has only got clout if we win.I HOPE WE DO WIN. For me let's win 5 in a row funnier things have happened this is not the premier league COYY.

People talking like this new ownership have just turned up and need to assess etc

They've been the same group of people, considering, watching and analysing for the last six months (4 years). Watching the manager waste their cash like its going out of fashion this summer. There are many unhappy people, forget the fan base.

Anyway, I'm sure we were told all the crocks bar YW are ready to go, starting this weekend. Can't wait to see them all in the matchday squad

I'm sorry yellowbow, but what do you mean by 'will take their time to assess' and 'Robinson needs to be given a chance'? In my eyes he's 'had sufficient time' and 'been given a chance'. I'll be genuinely surprised if he survives until the end of October.

I knew I shouldn’t have attempted to read it. I didn’t really understand most of it but he does insist he got the recruitment right…

Doubling down will ultimately be his undoing. People would be more sympathetic had he said "yep, we could have done much better and will use it as an opportunity to learn for January"

Don't let Karl's interview fool you. The board are frustrated by the poor start and poor performances just as we are, the only thing is they realise that we have alot of injuries and this has saved Karl getting the chop now. If by the end of October with players returning the performances and results haven't improved and the fans are still booing the team with attendances still low he will be let go.

The poor football on show contributing in attendances this season being low and a big porpotion of the fanbase unappy continuing any longer will hardly help the owners case of moving to a bigger stadium. The owners aren't stupid and wouldn't let a friendship get in the way of their ultimate goal.

The thing is he’s had 8 previous windows before the summer, and he clearly hasn’t learnt anything. He’s stubborn, and set in his ways. Good for him, but it’s not what we need.

He has to go..with everything new that was announced yesterday, the new board have to realise ita robinson that is the only thing holding the club back.
Im sick of his slimy comments as if everyrhing is okay and he doesnt feel under any pressure.
Can he not see how damage he is caused by him hanging around like a nasty smell.

When would the remaining happy clappers then see it as time for change. When we are relegated?

I hope for the clubs sake you and Endna are wrong

I’m interested to know how many people would take a loss on Saturday if it meant KR was out of the hot seat?

For me I never want to see us lose. I hate it! It ruins my weekend, and midweek if we play on a Tuesday night.

I can understand if people would be happy to see us lose at Charlton if it meant KR was out! Because the sooner he’s gone the better chance we have of somehow resurrecting this season, after a dreadful start.

Im on the fence on this one.

As I've said, I think you'll be disappointed if you expect any changes in management in the immediate future.

Not compared to a similar stage of the season and similar opposition. We had a big uplift in attendance from January onwards, helped in part to the fact that we played many of the bigger, more attractive clubs. But like for like there's barely any difference.
