Yep hold the government to ransom with a series of strikes of which no government could give into their demands especially with a militant RMT boss….just saying no real difference but would be more messy with the governmentOr better.
These strikes are only happening because the government are basically in control now.Yep hold the government to ransom with a series of strikes of which no government could give into their demands especially with a militant RMT boss….just saying no real difference but would be more messy with the government

Having a days overtime insteadHesitating….. can’t face more KR dross either. Difficult decision.
Your dead right. People will always find a way to get there sometimes if push came to shove, and yes, if we were in the play off position these would have sold out already. This travel issue is certainly having an affect on our ticket sales, we have been allocated 2000 tickets for this match, the tickets are on countdown from 2000 to 0 and currently the number stands at 1476 meaning we have only sold just over 500 tickets so far.
Obviously if we were ripping the league apart, scoring goals, playing attractive football and being ti the top two or three in the league we would have sold out by now however............... Hmmmmmmm.. so maybe the train strike has nothing to do with it..
Anyway..... See you at The Valley on Saturday, 5 Lincoln yellows already booked on the train....!
Overground trains from London Bridge to and beyond Charlton (The Valley) are still running before and after the game as normal however subject to change with a revised schedule announced this Tuesday.Anyone feeling energetic it's about a 2 mile walk from North Greenwich underground station. Don't think underground will be impacted by the strikes
You were lucky. We used to walk to games, licking the tarmac all the way. When we got there we would have to cut the grass, paint the white lines and clean the toilets. One of us would have to be kicked around as there was no ball and four others would have to stand there as goalposts. When we got back home, we had to check this forum to find KR had bought another injured winger instead of a fullback. What's a matter with hiring a tranny van simple. Or like the old days a removal van .what ever happened to hitchhiking?? Me & my mates hitched the length & breadth of England to watch the Us over the years. Went 2s up on motorbike , 6 of us in a del boy Renault reliant, with 6 crates of larger proper crates as well when they were 24 cans or party 7s. I've walked & even push biked..we even hired coaches , what's a matter with everyone nowadays????
Yeah done all that as well I do remember volunteering to clean snow off the manor pitch though, 2hen old Les Bateman was groundsmanYou were lucky.
