What's your problem with Tuesday? Fascist!!
Now to send the thread off at another tangent - does anyone remember the JEO cartoon strips in NME and the slogan he worked into them

Edit: 'Twas the Record Mirror, not the NME, which makes it strange that I recall the cartoons as nobody ever bought the RM...

As the forum's resident Italian (unless there's another among us?) I'll jump on this tangent...

I grew up in Oxford, but my family's originally from Sardinia, so felt like I should have some connection to Cagliari, but I've never actually been to see a match there as I usually go over to visit in the summers, during the closed season. The rest of my Italian family live in Perugia, so I felt the slightest of loyalties towards them, but I went to study in Terni when I was 18, and lived round the corner from Ternana's stadium (Perugia's main rivals). All my mates there were season ticket holders in their main "curva" and after going to my first match with them, I fell in love and bought myself a season ticket too.

(Apologies for posting these particular colours on this forum)

Very lucky the game hasn`t been sterilised to within an inch of its life out there.
Looks most enjoyable, is the cost comparable?

My dad is Sardinian, and I too have never been to watch Cagliari. Their current temporary ground is in the car park of the Stadio Sant'Elia. They are getting a new stadium soon so I think I will treat my dad to a game there when it is done.

Although, one thing I know for sure about Sards is that they are notoriously slow builders so it could be 10 years yet, just in time for the EFL to approve Bakrie and Co.

After all the things I've had to read on here I'm feeling a bit down :(. I need something to cheer me up.
Ah! I know, I'm off to the Sunderland forum. :p
Some of their fans are calling for Frank Lampard to take over. Hmmmm.

Oh that has cheered me up. Here's a few quotes from after the match....

Is this knacker really the best manager the richest owners outside the Premier League could bring in?

Right f**k this, I'm a Brighton fan for the rest of the day.

This went well didn’t it.

gerrim tae fk, it's one thing to be outplayed by a better team, but to abjectedly stop trying for at least 3 games in a row.

Let's just hope that Oxford get beat tomorrow so we can have a home league game on 2nd round weekend (Lincoln are winning).

These players are a s**t stain on the underwear of this club's history.
