You can if they want to be at the public unveiling of the completion here in Oxford whether at the stadium and the training ground. Nobody knew what restrictions would be on international travel and while you say excuse, I'll say it is a possible reason.

We could be waiting a lot longer then if there waiting on Indonesia, Thailand being on the green list with no isolation needed.

Possibly. I have no clue one way or another, just speculation on my part.

Not sure I buy the physical location of parties as the reason for the delay. Zoom, MS Teams, Skype, DocuSign, Email etc have all been used to help keep the wheels turning for the rest of the world during the past 18 months.

Teams, Zoom etc aren't good for publicity photos etc which is something they might just want. I reckon ego of those taking control may be a factor in this and considering what they've spent/are likely to spend then fair enough.

Not sure that a big announcement is best done over TEAMS?
The takeover of a football club is a big issue and I believe the stakeholders should ge there in person.
TEAMS is great but not for massive announcements (in my view)

No but they're great for negotiations and getting things signed remotely. The announcement will be a press release to the Oxford Mail and Radio Oxford and an article on the website which may warrant a couple of lines in the national press if its a slow news day. If its done, announce it!

They best pull out the deal then as covid isn't going anywhere anytime soon but all the time the clock is ticking on the kassam license.
