Apparently the owners were meant to be at the game today but Anin is stuck in isolation in a London hotel due to Indonesia’s red list and the others couldn’t even get to the UK due to the covid rules. Hopefully we will hear something soon

In the bit with Stevie K after the game yesterday, Jerome said something like he wasn't sure if it was this week but that one was "imminent".

It sounded, to me, that the club hadn't confirmed a date but that it was nothing to worry about that there hadn't been a 5 minute fans forum yet.

The board rather than a particular individual own the club. The share of that ownership has changed over recent months with Tiger no longer the majority shareholder. Whilst not confirmed, it is expected that Anindya Bakrie and Erick Thohir will individually or together become the majority shareholder(s) and assume control with Bakrie likely to be announced as the new chairman.

None of this should be a major surprise. The delay in announcing is everything to do with key people not being in the UK rather than some evidence that this change isn't happening.

We`ll see but I`m not holding my breath.... nor am I swallowing the endless piles of "corporate joy" served up by some.

We know we have wealthy owners.
We know their MO, albeit mostly in other countries.
We know they could have bought a strategic site hidden in a mire of companies.
We know how obstructive the public planning process can be.
We know that hasn`t started yet although some backroom progress may have been made.
We know the current stadium situation.
We know time waits for no man.

We know nobody is telling us anything factual because we are a periphery to the money game and don`t matter to them.
