We’ve actually played better tonight. Blackpool
are a very good team though. Fed up with this ‘we’re clueless’ crap. We’re not. Just suck it up that they’re too good for us.

So predictable overall. Same lineup, same tactics, same end result.
Some of the passing, by Henry and Brannagan above all, has been nothing short of abysmal.
Too many players not at the races tonight, changes need to be made right now.
Forde is a better outlet going forward but the first goal is on him.
Blackpool better in every way, sadly.
Let's not lower ourselves to Burton kicking their legs off please, lose with a bit of pride.

Agree in general, particularly the last point, but feel the first goal is very much on Henry. Gives the ball away cheaply and then needs to stop the man cutting inside. Take nothing away from the finish though.

Blackpool are just that much stronger, quicker and more athletic than us. The hysterical comments on here are frankly pathetic. We badly miss Long of that there is no doubt. Barker has been nullified by their full back aided by Mitchell who is as quick as Barker. Give a very organised opposition full credit. Their record against the top sides is indicative of their quality. I do think Agyei may cause them a few problems. Lee lacks pace and strength and misses Long. Not Henry’s best game for sure. KR will see where he needs to strengthen. McGuane is a start.

The midfield is just to lightweight to help the defence out and win the ball, as good as they as individual footballers as a unit they don’t work unless we are against the poorer teams at this level.

The only way Robinson is getting us up is if he is given a budget to get in players who are better than league one, which most managers can do. If we have an average budget he isn’t tactically good enough to do it. He has his qualities but building a tough, organised unit that can battle and overpower teams isn’t one of them.
