International News Meghan & Harry

There will always be a place for them in this country... a council flat in Scumdon awaits!

I just can’t get interested. I don’t really mind the Queen and the more sensible royals. I’m quite prepared to believe both that Meghan was treated in an intrusive and racially motivated way by the press and that she’s a pushy cow who couldn’t be bothered to open a load of boring fetes.

It's old fashioned, it's the only reason some of the gutter press exists and it needs to go I'm afraid.

The problem is Paedo Andy will never face justice because he's "royal" - there's something really not right about that.

Bill Clinton has just as many ties to Epstein, and just as many rumors have surfaced about what he used to get up to on the 'Lolita Express'. He likely will never face justice either.

Which is just to say that you may get rid of the monarchy, but that doesn't mean you'll get rid of the 'royals'. They'll just look a little different.

Tragic that they’ve chosen a very good tv personality to interview them, Oprah Winfrey is an excellent tv 📺 reducer/interviewer whines good at manipulating a tv audience, her answer to Meghan’s claim of racism...a few seconds pause before “ what “ she drew the audience i with that. Total cringeworthy

It's her job to do that.

Now we have some palace flunky saying "What colour will the kid be?" being morphed into BLM and "state racism" by the media.....

I have shouted "F*** off " at the telly too much today.

In other news Unilever are no longer going to use the word "Normal" in their advertising. More minority navel gazing appears to have won.....

Will the palace respond? Need to be wish quick if they are too
I think they’re raising issues that the palace can’t and shouldn’t keep quiet about, eg two of the biggest issues in the last year, eg mental health and racism, both to quell any public disquiet and show that the family are prepared to learn and adapt; if, there is truth in what’s being said. To make ‘no comment’ would be an outdated and counter productive response.

Haven’t watched it. Don’t plan too.

Bit did Meghan get asked about the situation with her family, notably her father? That would have been a sensible question to ask or wouldn’t that for the agenda?

Why wouldn’t she if she’s going to accuse the royal family of racism, name names? The pair of them know that the royal family or Buckingham palace won’t get drawn into a slanging match in the media so it’s an easy shock tactic to go with.

Lastly, for a couple who have chosen ( no problem with that, I don’t even blame them. ) to ask for a private life away from the press and all that goes with it. To go on mainstream US tv likewise knowing the coverage it’ll get this side of the pond, seems a little hypocritical to me....

Really?

This surely is another marketing strategy made by capitalists? If minority/lefty/woke types really had so much influence there wouldn't be any capitalists!

Imagine supporting someone who was a known friend of a known paedophile.
Do you ever watch the BBC or use BBC products? Imagine supporting an institution which was a known friends of a known paedophile.

Have you ever voted for the Lib Dems? Imagine supporting a party which was a known friend of a known paedophile.

Have you ever enjoyed a Weinstein film? Imagine supporting an industry which was closely associated with a known sex offender.

Doesn't really work does it.

I know you enjoy playing the Lozza Fox anti-woke warrior from time to time, Essex, and you enjoy the seething from some on here, but I in some ways agree with this. Meghan has used the racism line so effectively that saying it enough times therefore makes it true. Her argument essentially boils down to 'is it coz I is black?' without realising that criticism of a BAME person or people does not necessarily have to be racist.

Every person marrying or partnering up with a royal family member gets the rough treatment from the press. The more major the royal you date, the more attention you'll receive. It's not so long ago that Sarah Ferguson was the brunt of all the jibes and jokes from the media. Kate Middleton was deemed a commoner by some quarters. Her sister received dogs abuse for daring to upstage Kate at her wedding by wearing a figure hugging dress. Chelsy Davy was hounded relentlessly when she dated Harry. What's different about the endless stories Meghan has received? So much as get caught sneezing and it's newsworthy apparently.

The press had it in for her for a number of reasons which were independent of her skin tone - a divorcee American (Wallis Simpson-esque who equally had a tough time from the press and family), an actress with a bit of a profile already, an attention seeking father, a more liberal attitude against the do-your-duty stoical conservatism of the royals. Of course she was going to attract headlines. It doesn't mean that they're racist though.

I don't think that Meghan was asked about her father which does seem a little odd based on the fact that no questions were off limit.
Having said that I have no intention of watching it either

As the interview was done in America, cant a spokesperson for Brenda in Buck house claim the 5th ammendment in response? ;)
