We are a selling club, but I just don’t understand why we need to sell NOW. Why mid season? I thought the whole point of selling Whyte at the 11th hour was to set us in good stead financially for the season. Baptiste’s value is only going to go up if he continues the rest of the season as he has done so far. Also, it’s not like 2.25m is too good to refuse. With Tob Hall out we now only have one real out and out winger in Holland. It just doesn’t make any sense to me.

Of all our 'top' players that could of gone, Fosu and Baptiste are probably the two I would have chosen (although not so late in the window, not at the same time, not without incomings lined up etc.).

That's probably the best thing I can say about it.

Let's just hope the injured players get back ASAP.

I think that is the issue. Sell 2 weeks ago and you can replace, selling with 24 hours to go is the issue

Relax. We are about to get a lot of money, and it’s a good deal. We have a lot of players in midfield, and will make even more money down the line.

Id rather have players at this club that others want, and we make money from it. The longevity of the football club is far more important than a couple of players.
