I'm starting to think something is fundamentally wrong with our recruitment process. Wether it be the MD, Robinson or available funds the issues from last season obviously weren't addressed and we're heading into the new season with a weaker squad, especially defensively (if you can imagine that) than last season.

3 weeks to go...

I'm not sure that we have a weaker squad? With 2 to 3 new signings I reckon that we will have a much better squad ( assuming a decent CB and striker)
I think that 'fundamentally wrong' is a bit OTT.
I do wonder whether we are going for too many 'proven' players .
Under MAPP the likes of the Roofe signing is what we still seem to be trying to do.
But the Sercombe/ Nelson signings were for players from.the same league for players at the end of their contracts. Both steals really.
Are we still trying to do this, are we not quite as good at it or is it just more competitive?
Or have I got that totally wrong!?

Yes, impressive.

Although I did watch him in the play offs and felt he really snatched at a couple of great chances that proved very costly. He’s only young and maybe the play off occasions got to him a bit.

Getting desperate, now trying to work out what route Robinson took to get back from Scotland or having digs at Kip.

Emergency meeting of the recruitment team was called for the weekend as the avocados haven’t been ripe at the training ground apparently. Tiger Out.
