Some options from the relegated teams:

Plymouth:
Graham Carey (29) - No.10 similar to Henry, contract expires in summer but has a one year extension option.
Ruben Lameiras (24) - Another attacking midfielder, available on free transfer.
Freddie Ladapo (26) - Striker with 18 goals, one year left on contract.

Walsall:
Nicky Devlin (25) - Right back, has just won Player’s Player. OOC this summer.
Andy Cook (28) - 13 goals, one year on contract.

Scunthorpe:
Ryan Colclough (24) - Primarily left winger, started season well before ACL injury. 2 years left on contract so perhaps unlikely.

Bradford:
Couldn’t name anyone.

From the Championship, Ellis Harrison (25) would be a decent striker. Looks like he’s struggled this season but had been consistent for Bristol Rovers prior. One year left on contract, but cost them 750k last summer.

On Ruben Lameiras, apparently Derek Adams stopped picking him when playing on not very good pitches so not sure the Kasstad pitch would suit him. ?

Scunthorpe
Funso Ojo(27)- box to box midfielder good engine on him.

Walsall
George Dobson (21)- ex west ham young holding midfielder would complement Brannagan nicely in the midfield

Lameiras has signed a pre contract with Bordeaux according to PASOTI

KR did say that RD was with the squad yesterday, which I hope indicates that it’s fairly innocent. If he was ‘doing a Marv’, I would think he’d be kept separated from the squad, at least in a match day.

Fingers crossed.
He also had an allergy which had very visible spots and rashes!

Dickie was there, came out before kick off. Sat next to the bench during the game.

Few other players available

MK Dons Chuks Aneke who KR signed out of contract this summer 17 league goals for them (playing in a number 9 & 10 position) Agard available as well but don’t think to much of him

Marc McNulty was told by Reading he’s not wanted (maybe Tiger connection with Reading could get us a deal like it did with Dickie)

If FGR don’t go up Christian Doidge has 1 year left, player we should of got in a few seasons back just before Mapp left

Sam Surridge went back to Bournemouth after scoring over double figures for Oldham but never really featured much since

Some really decent strikers there.
Do any of them play in a formation similar to ours (soveffectivrly one up front?)

Doidge & McNulty play the lone striker for there clubs same with Ladapo at Plymouth I mentioned earlier all score goals which is needed after 2 years on waiting, Aneke has played in a number of positions depending on there formation 4-2-3-1 he played in both number 10 & 9 so a bit of a versatile forward

One thing is for sure we need 2 strikers to come in this summer & wouldn’t be to disappointed if Sinclair came back

Interesting. McNulty is feisty character and was a very good goalscorer at Coventry.
Dodge's value will presumably go down as he only has one year on his contract.
One of those two and Sinclair would leave us in a far better position than this season.

I don't think Doidge as his price is a million and that's what Bolton would have have had to pay.
Mcnulty yes he could do well here but not Agard.

How many of our players would get in the barnsley / luton teams? That is the benchmark to get promoted.

That's a really good way of looking at it. I would suggest Nelson, Brannagan and Whyte, with Eastwood not far off. I think Ruffels, Dickie and Sykes might feature at some stage during a season. Or put another way, we need to replace Nelson and get an out-and-out striker...

Baldock, Lundstram and Marvin Johnson will all be going up to the PL (Not Johnson as he was only on loan) with fairly few appearances between them (Baldock 26 starts, but the other two 5 and 3 respectively) - Could we do a cheeky deal for any of them?

I suspect that they will keep Baldock who has been first choice there.
Lundstram could be kept go but midfield is our strong point. Johnson? No thanks. The worst behaviour of any Oxfird player I have seen when he wanted out.

I don't think Johnson would be accepted back by the fans, or would even entertain return to us. Lundstram isn't a necessary purchase as we're fine for central midfielders, probably doesn't fit Karl's style of play, and could probably still get offers in the Championship.

If we are looking get Kashi again or given the choice between Lundstam or Kashi I’d prefer to get Lunny back
