Taking things slow in a new relationship with a sloth he met on holiday.

They are twins, but we've only signed one of them.

One takes really good free kicks and the other is really slow. We've signed the slow one.
we wouldve done exactly that in the run in to last season methinks:unsure:

It even says in the article that we will be signing young players, but to help them improve and grow u need experienced heads around them. Even mapp said this. After the clear out Nelson is one of the most experienced and he’s only 25. Phil Edwards added experience to the back line and did well. Worse case he sits on the bench as Norman is keeping him out the side

I was referring to McMahon and if we sign O’Neil, but agree you definitely need a mixture of youth and experience.

Looks like 6thTier on Twitter called it right a few days ago...

Also said Nelson had agreed a new deal and we were looking to sign Jack Payne and Gary O’Neil.
One thing I wonder about Payne is weather he is needed. Quality no doubt but Henry really showed how good he is in the number 10 role when Payne left. With Carruthers and Brannagan who can play there as well I feel like we would be overcrowded in that position. Under pep we were so one dimensional when Payne played and were found out quickly.

I wouldn't be disappointed if he signed but I'd prefer us to focus on a goalscorer and centre midfielder with the wages we would spend.

Bradford fans give mixed reviews but reading between the lines he will be a useful addition but some question marks over his attitude. Time will tell but looking forward to having a set piece specialist again. With Maguire there was always that possibility of a goal and defences were afraid to give away fouls in dangerous areas.

Totally underwhelming signing. You’re right about the Bradford fans most of them don’t have a good word to say about him. Or it would seem his dead ball delivery!
Sounds like he has a bad attitude and is a so so player. His attitude won’t get him very far with KR though so if true he won’t get many games.

As always he’ll get my full support and I wish him all the best. I hope he proves me so so wrong.

I wouldn't worry too much about what Bradford fans are saying about him, even Ronaldo gets booed by Madrid fans. Fans on twitter are usually pretty bitter when their player signs for someone else.

I wish him well and hope he’s a great success but signing a bread and butter right back is never going to be an exciting event. If he’d arrived amid a cluster of exciting attacking players we’d all be satisfied that we’ve got a decent steady player to fill an area where one was needed. Unfortunately as there’s very little else happening we’re possibly being over- critical and analytical about it. He’ll do a job as they say..

I’m very pleased with him coming to Oxford. Most of us I’m sure want at least one striker, preferably two.
Disappointed that we have got almost through June without a hint of a front man joining

To be fair, there are at least hints of the front man. We're told we'll get one on loan once the leasing club gets their own striker in.
