A return off-peak train ticket (£24.20) is cheaper than getting into the ground as I hear it is £30 although that could be wrong?

Bonkers if so.

where have you found that train fare EY? Can’t seem to find if for any cheaper than £93 on Trainline.

Worth looking at the usual train ticket splitting sites...

Looks like by splitting you can save £35ish if travelling from Oxford..£55 with network rail card / £57 without..

Without railcards, can do it for around £63 each from OXF - SHF

A pint of milk is cheaper than an away ticket ? What’s the correlation?

*thinly veiled “look at me I’m going to a game”.

Where did I say I was going? 🤷‍♂️

I`m just planning in case our deferred holiday doesn`t go ahead.

The correlation is that getting said train is less than the cost of getting in.

The dynamic has changed with a combination of better value public transport and football clubs rinsing attendees as predicted by many when SKY et al got involved.

Sheff Weds categories as below so far in the league.

Doncaster - A
Fleetwood - C
