Players and staff not paid for March

Pure incompetence leading to a staff walkout.

Hopefully people will grasp how serious the financial situation is with Tiger in charge. We are screwed.

Do we know the staff have walked out or has the club closed up for a couple of days to save the staff having to answer speculative questions which they cannot answer.

Or maybe Tiger has gathered them all together to personally give an update (and apology I would hope) and assurance that no one will be out of pocket because of the delay......

☝ this... we dont know that staff have "walked" out, or weather the club have closed the offices for formal discussions/taking them away from the coal face....

we are all as frustrated as each other but none of us actaully no whats going on (100%) some silly comments being made on official FB page that are not on.... we know we wont get a response from Tiger any time soon...

With issues with ticketing system at the weekend, it could be ticket office , club shop etc are having urgent I T work done to sort things from that? If that is whats going on , a big IF granted, as no info /communication on the subject (and to be fair the ows etc is albeit surprisingly a one man operation!) , work being done on the computer system may explain oufc offices being closed today?

Being a former shop steward/union convenor ,if the staff have, as allowed per contract, withdrawn labour until pay is received, more power to them I say. Never mess around with peoples wages, its not right. Maybe it would be beneficial if oufc employees got themselves organised and unionised...even better if the eployers at oufc officially recognise their right (1984 employment act) to be members of an independant trade union. TUC motto states its simply 'unity is strength'

Tigers lowest day so far, an absolute shambles. If you do not have the money HERE to run a football club, then you shouldn't be running one.

Time to put the club up for sale and admit defeat. It's been nothing short of pathetic since his arrival. A temporary staff walkout is one thing, if any leave permanently it would be a disaster, because they're all fantastic at their jobs and devote themselves to OUFC.

just shows Tiger cant be trusted to act on his words... month or so ago he promised cash would be avilable locally in the UK (as it took awhile to clear from abroad) to avoid the issue's with late HMRC payements etc... well that clearly hasnt happened has it.

as mentioned before, im staggered that the reported calabre of our FD is still here and being associated with this mess (if ofcourse he isnt part of the mess... :) )

With all the Ticket issues over the weekend, if they are simply closing the TO for no reason that is very unprofessional, fans have been charged over £100 for something that only cost £20.

The club shop, Ticket Office etc did not shut when the HMRC winding up petition came about, why would they for this?

To be fair, he said the exact opposite. He was asked if there should be funds available in the UK to call on to deal with "unexpected" items (like HMRC, wages etc), and he said "No".

What happened at the weekend? I must have missed that.

The worrying thing is that he continues to run cash flow on a just in time basis, despite all the business critical issues and bad press for him personally that its causing.

Why would he do this?

Could be the launch meeting for a consultation period ahead of a re-structure rather than a "walk out". If "A N Other" has bought the club they might just go in and re-structure from top to bottom ?

Would you still close the TO after weekend issues though? Would be very careless!

If you need all available folk in the meeting then its coincidence more than conspiracy... especially when the ticket system is run by a separate company.
New financial year, new broom sweeps clean....... more to this than we know. ;)

OUFC staff have to initiate any refunds etc though.

I am betting staff have not been paid.

Club staff have not been paid and that is why they aren’t working today. They chose not to work for free.
