General Backroom Staff Changes

Odd that there's never been a formal announcement about Brown and LBS leaving the club. Perhaps they're still employed technically?

Who's the GK coach?
 
Bit of digging and it turns out our new First Team Coach Analyst played pro a bit back in 00's.

And was even an unused sub at The Kassam on Boxing Day 2007 for Steve Evan's Crawley Town.

(erroneously dated as 27th on the link below. And no, the fat fraud hasn't put himself on the bench - that's a different Steve Evans)...

From what I heard (outside of YF) Brown has definitely gone but have nothing other than here to back it up.
 
Does anybody actually know if Brown has departed. The website has been updated today and he is still listed as goalkeeper coach.
 
Brown was definitely not in Spain for the full course of the week, if he ever went out at all.
If the suggestion is that he has left, then obviously wouldn't have been there at all.

All the content he is posting on his goalkeeping instagram relating to OUFC is old as includes old training kit and also Jack Stevens.

Looking at the stuff again think you are right-his insta profile does not mention oufc at all just that he does GK coaching.
 
Brown seems to be in Tenerife doing some 1 on 1 coaching with someone according to his insta
 
Cornwall/Tenerife they seek him here-they seek him there.....

I heard he had been interviewed for Ollie the Ox but was unsuccessful. They offered him the role of Karl the ObnOXious but he turned it down.

It's someone who he seems to have a link with via a goalkeeping glovecompany - same guy was in at Oxford quite a few times last season.

General - Backroom Staff Changes

This is all very Royston Vasey. My brother lives in Abingdon and used to work with Matt Taylor’s mum. Still bumps into her fairly often at his local Co-Op. Or at least he used to. Although Colin has never given me pocket money, he has bought me sweets before. Any puppies?

Many thanks to Brown who has been a great coach and figure at the club for the past 12 years.
Price is a very good GK coach and knows Manning + Hogg very well

Why on earth have the club appointed a man (Matt Parry, as announced on the official site) as the coach for the women's development team?

The job should have been given to a woman.
