Away Match Day Thread +++ Peterborough Utd v OUFC - match day thread +++

Sounds like we’re lucky to be only one down, but at least we have the opportunity to push on this half. Disappointed with how it sounds the midfield is playing, presume Bran still struggling for match fitness a bit.
gave the ball away for their goal did Brannagan... he looks well off the pace of the game

So far we are beating ourselves defensively and with our passing. They are far more clinical up feint whereas we flap in front of goal.
Their investment in their strike force shows.

Feel sorry for Browne, team fouled in a physical manner and Refs won't clamp down on it. So he gets taken off eventually and we lose one of our better players. Wish we'd do it Toney...

Ferguson said this week that he didn't have to worry about setting his team up against Oxford because we always play 4-1-4-1.
The other contenders have all rumbled this - can we really see ourselves now finishing above Rotherham, Peterborough, Pompey and Sunderland?
And Coventry, Ipswich and Doncaster will push us for the other play-off places.
Time for KR to change things around - pity he has never fancied 2 up front.

He went 2 up front in the Newcastle game when Agyei come on and they couldn't handle us. This is the way we need to play.

At the moment it seems like Brannagan's consistent inclusions hint that KR is desperate for him to rediscover his form, but it just feels like we're rushing him back. When you have Thorne and Kelly on the bench there should be no point forcing Cam to play and play until he hits form. You could say 'Thorne and Kelly aren't properly fit yet', but clearly neither is Bran.

We didn't really, Agyei played mostly from the right when he was subbed on. Only came alive when he moved more centrally.
