Other European European Super League

@PSGsupporter So, you've joined an Oxford United forum to push English participation in yet another European competition.

Why?

Surely you would be better off going to a forum of a top Premier League club with your epistles. They have more pull in English football than little Oxford United.

But thanks for the distraction from our current not-so-good season. We need cheering up!

You think Welsh teams should play in Wales but Celtic and rangers should play in the EPL your good
No. A Cymru Red Dragons FC should be formed and take the place of Cardiff City in the "English" league system.

You ok? There are pills you can take for that.
f**k odd with your we need this and f**k grass root football in every country. Yes if it happens van the greedy bastards from representing their respective countries.
How the f**k have PSG kept writhing FFP I’ll never know as you didn’t win the Champions league like OSG said to justify buying Messi and co.
Now jog on and toodle pip.
PSG get a fair amount of money from the States, Accosiation with Nike, Michael Jordan and selling quite a few replica shirts in the States apparently. The Chicago Bulls played in Paris earlier.

How do PSG benefit from an NBA match taking place somewhere else in Paris?

Oh teriffic. What ridiculous law suggests that is OK?
Is it that black and white from a legal perspective?
I suppose it's a competition issue. FIFA and UEFA penalising them for starting their own league allows them to maintain a monopoly over football.

The most ironic thing about all of this is clubs and players complaining they play too many games, yet they're happy to play even more as long as it makes them richer...

Might not be so good for A22 as the original interpretations suggested if this from the above article is to be believed:

"All advantage lies with Uefa

Analysis from Miguel Delaney - chief football writer at The Independent

All anybody really cares about is can a European Super League be launched?

And what this judgement does is say it is still immensely complicated.

All advantage lies with Uefa and crucially the Super League would still have to get authorisation from Uefa.

What today's ruling does is it basically preserves the power of the governing bodies. It makes it clear that legally sporting merit needs to be protected."

As an aside, the names for the leagues are truly awful. Well they've got 2 clubs I suppose, only another 62 to get and they couldn't get 15 initially. Also, if all games are streamed free, where is the income going to come from?
