Isn't that what scotchers was eluding to recently..We will have to sell all our players in January and will have no money to buy anyone. This is the start of Armageddon*
*might not be totally serious, but I’m sure it’s a position some will take
Hopefully we invested the jan transfer fund in mahaka media. Tidy profit that.so what does all that mean in relation to any new stadium?
Win against Rochdale tomorrow, and we’re potentially 2 off the top!Win against Hayes and Yeading with tv that’s over 100k so there maybe something extra come January
Sounds very unlikely!Isn't that what scotchers was eluding to recently..
It would be the opposite for me, there are now some good people joining the club behind the scenes that might be able to take the next step. It's strange really how things change I would have been more concerned if Tiger was resigning!
you are gift that keeps on giving?Sounds very unlikely!
Erick has always been in the background looking at supporting the wider development of the club. I'm not sure that this will change significantly but just not formally as a board member.
As for a January fire sale and impending armageddon, I'm sure things will be just fine. Obviously we'll still have the usual rumours about cold showers, long grass, and the milk man not getting paid, but that's just the way the forum works!
Agreed, as much as it's nice to think he will still be fighting our corner and slipping us the odd tenner here and there, he's hardly going to be flying over from the other side of the world to have a chat with Oxford City Council about the greenbelt, or whatever locations they are considering (I couldn't be less ITK btw). He may take the occasional call from Tiger et al if they need some advice, but truth is we will be far from his priority. As I’ve got absolutely no idea what he’s done since joining the Board of Directors (not a criticism of him) I can’t say that I know whether to be concerned or not. The job he’s just secured himself and his ambitions are going to take much of his time so it seems entirely sensible for him to step down regardless of whether there was any conflict in being involved with both parties.
Not one shadow of a doubt.A well timed proactive media strategy by the club to offset the Tohir announcement.
There could always be a republican revolution. The trouble is that we could be stuffed if they lost an election. Man City is run by a monarchy.
