Could be; anything' better than nothing.
Semi-colon
Interesting. Couldn’t find any evidence of that - do you have a link? And the key part seems to be prescribing Zinc with it. It seems to be ineffective without that.
Sure but that’s just zn - we know it boosts immune system (and fertility ...). The question was about a synergistic effect with CQ (or rather as a necessary combination).some small effect

Yes!Are there any studies on snake oil around?
It doesn’t seem very far removed from taking vit C and zn supplements to reduce the length of a cold by 25%. Or the fact that people get respiratory viruses more commonly in summer. And that is the interesting part.
There are some "theories" about the role Vitamin D plays too, both as part of a treatment and whole treatment, especially considering lower transmission rates in warmer climates.
I'm not stating them as fact though, or as a bona fide treatment, but more of a lateral thinking exercise. With shut downs being so different, it's not ideal to get a rigorous test.
And that takes time right? It doesn’t seem very far removed from taking vit C and zn supplements to reduce the length of a cold by 25%. Or the fact that people get respiratory viruses more commonly in summer.
What we actually need is decent fairly specific antiviral.
