What do you get if you purchase a NFT - I have made no attempt to understand them to date. Are you basically paying $99 for a meme of Trump and the chance to meet him (Urgh) or play on one of his golf courses?

You basically get a digital certificate saying you "own" the meme of Trump, but it doesn't stop other people from viewing it wherever it is posted. As @Essexyellows said, Emperor's New Clothes.

They are very good at making money from the base. The MAGA hats were making $80k profit a day. They also made $250million in donations for the legal fight against the "stolen election" that they never spent on lawyers.
