Current Player #9 Mark Harris

Would have had his 6th goal of the year already if not for Henry (rightfully!) poaching his on the line yesterday. Still working as hard as ever off the ball and looking increasingly confident on it - player of the month?
I was watching the goal again this morning and tried to work out if the ball was already spinning into the net before Henry headed it.

The goalie really fucked it up.

f*****g hell.

We're not going to start questioning Henry for deciding to JUST PUT THE f*****g THING IN THE NET are we?

Have we learned nothing?!

Yard further back and he brings that down, gets his head up and looks for the pass, just the sort of unselfish player he is, probably even apologised to the rest of the team after for scoring.

Imagine if he’d been offside and it got chalked off.

Am sure the response on here would have been the same regardless, talking more positively about him being able to still do a job for the last 20 minutes of games.

First thing I did after it hit the back of the net was to check if the linesman’s flag was up for offside, but then again I pretty much do that after every ‘goal’.

We have been lucky with Harris.
He has played 90 minutes in most games and has played virtually every game.
Some of the players have looked tired recently ( partly as a result of us having nothing on the bench), but Harris"s work rate yesterday was phenomenal- for the whole 102 (?) Minutes.
