We played well today but not quite good enough. The players can hold their heads high but need a good window in the summer to get us in the same or better position next season.

Lots of positives on our side, but luck hasn't been on our side for a while now. Need to start making our own.

Another game another time saying it. Pretty football doesn't get you out of League One. Battering rams, physical long ball sides get promotion. Pretty footballing sides get turned over.

From a footballing perspective, Pompey are woeful, but that style gets results. Dig in, take your chances, don't take risks.

Well safe to say Portsmouth are going up. If you can win as often as they do playing like that, it’s most certainly your year.

But it should send a message to the powers that be at Oxford United that we have missed an ALMIGHTY opportunity this year.

The frustrating thing is that losing away at the league leaders while playing well is annoying, but iIf we'd played half as well as this in some of our other recent games, this loss would not be so damaging.

If the sign of a good side is that they can play poorly and win (Portsmouth), is playing well and losing (us) a sign of a poor side?
