New Stadium Plans - The Triangle - Planning

Correct. Planning is not decided on people's/councillors opinions.
No, but councillors will vote on the outcome of the planning decision and the advice of the planning officers. There are many examples where this then ends up in an appeal. The delay could jeopardise the final outcome. Choose your candidate carefully on the 2nd of May.

Seriously?

the 2 co spokespersons for Freinds of Stratfield Brake are standing as green candidates in local elections and you're asking why?

Really?
To be fair, he asked where rather than why.

The Campbell's are both standing in Bicester, McIvor is already in post I believe.

There is actually a formal political alliance between them locally.

Suzanne McIvor is a green party councillor and Victoria Campbell is a green party candidate. We all know the greens are anti-stadium.

Whilst that alliance remains in place we must assume the LibDem's are against the stadium too until they leave that alliance or publicly come out in support of the stadium.

Until that point they can't be trusted and we must campaign against them.

I’m not sure that is the case anymore.
Both parties have put up opposing candidates in 15 of the 16 wards of the forthcoming local elections !
(The odd one out is Cropedy)

Both parties have put up opposing candidates in all but one of the coming local elections !

It is, the "Progressive Oxfordshire Alliance" still exists.

Here's a green party councillor retweeting the LibDem PCC candidates campaign video. Clever politician speak in his disclaimer there of course.

I don't have a candidate to vote for in these local elections.

Not all councillors will have a vote on this only those on the planning committee. If they vote against the recommendation from planning officers and have been seen to be vocally against the stadium then it is an easier route for the club to go to appeal where it will be overturned.

That’s the election for a new Police Commissioner.
NOT CDC elections where , as previously stated, they are opposing each other in 15 of the 16 wards

Not why, where. I can’t find them on any lists of candidates. Probably looking in the wrong place though.
