New Stadium Plans - The Triangle - Planning

They can spin it however they like, I know what is morally right and discriminating people for supporting a football club because their out of date perception is that all football fans are thugs and bring trouble to the area along with down talking a working class area in the process isn't and doesn't have any place on public comment on a planning application.

FOSB and all the councillors would have my respect if they actually had a debate and voiced their concerns and would allow a response back. Unfortunately they don't want any answers unless it's the same view of them.
If if they do I'm sure a certain someone will drag them back down

The club should be getting this information out on every available format of media in CDC area, and beyond...

any thoughts @Up The Manor ?

as there are 10 grants up for grabs wonder if FoSB will chance their luck ?
Mr neutral has turned up on nextdoor telling us we haven't committed to maintain sb

And what exactly does he mean by that? OUFC release details of a community initiative yet that's not enough for him? Does he want complete silence from the club until the day the grounds staff turn up at Stratfield Brake?

Oh the irony, exactly what has his FOSB done to assist with maintaining SB pitches of which they are such friends.

He deliberately swerves that when put to him. He’s not going to throw his ‘chums’ under a bus (which won’t be parked on the dual carriageway).

He’s just trolling on that thread now. The last few strikes from someone who is losing

He's (as usual) being deliberately obtuse.

Oxford United have pledge to fund and support the maintenance and improvement of the sports pitches at SB. This is conditional on the stadium development as sadly, we know that no stadium could very easily mean no club. But once planning permission has been agreed then this support for SB will be linked to the lease agreement with OCC and will therefore become the commitment that he is arguing for.

It's no different from agreeing to cut your neighbours lawn if you buy the house next to them. But you're not going to drive around with your lawn mower if the sale falls through and you end up living elsewhere, or in our case, become homeless.

The details are clear, no matter how much Middleton or others try to deny them.

When Chester starts his political campaign in a few months time he will also be making commitments such as improving the local services just like Oufc he can't promise that until he is in office like Oufc can't fully commit until planning is granted and occ sign the release of the land

I do hope he isn't going around knocking on doors, he might be met with a few choice words from pro stadium supporters (which judging by the planning portal, there are quite a few!)

I will also be making sure that any other local Green Party members or activists are fully aware that Middleton is the reason that myself and my family will not be voting Green, despite having done so in the past.

I plan to do the same with the Lib Dems as well. Cllr Miller's finger wagging comments were very poor.

I have just made this point clear on the Kidlington Next Door thread.
