Was really bright at times first half. He got a read on Pennington very early and skinned him a few times. Just wish he'd slow down a bit. He rushes things at times and the ball just gets away from him at the vital moment. Unquestionable talent there but it'll be that composure to slow himself down that might make the difference. He's good enough to leave it late and take it around someone but often loses the ball before he gets that opportunity.Ty Goodrham has looked lost at times when he has played the 10 role. For me he is better cutting in from the wing.
Up there with Kyle Joseph at Plymouth last season. Stinker from Bodin but good to see us put a great ball in and make the run which has been infrequent of late.Just saw the highlights, Bodin’s header must be the miss of the century.
What a cross that was, though!Just saw the highlights, Bodin’s header must be the miss of the century.
Who are you again? Another of those ‘Des sacked my dad’ posters? The DESaster continues as we hurtle towards mid table obscurity.
Hey, it may surprise some of you, but the teams previously managed by Des would not make the EFC. His appointment remains a complete mystery.

Destiny??3) what Des- related pun are you going to use when we get promoted?
How's he going to get match fit if he doesn't play?
Very good point. Consistently decent performance. Matete looks excellent. Goodwin is very physical and immediately gives us options, especially against a tiring defence. Maybe the 'Des Out' brigade will take the day off. Still not sure we'll make playoffs, but that was very encouraging.
I doubt whether the ‘Des Out’ brigade will take the day off as being second in the league when he joined and looking very good for the playoffs has depressingly become “still not sure we’ll make the play offs”.Very good point. I too watched on IPlayer. Thought it was a very entertaining hard fought match. Big contrast in styles but a huge amount of effort from both teams but lacking in quality on a difficult pitch..Watched on iFollow so maybe not the best perspective - but wow if Matete is fit and can play like that he needs to be starting on Tuesday and as often as possible from here on in. Quietly impressed with Goodwin too.
Like others have said. Moore and Long were superb, particularly second half. We could’ve won it. But without Cumming’s excellent stop we could’ve lost. We could also have got easily overwhelmed in the dying moments but fought valiantly.
Generally that was a better performance all round (after we started slowly and switched off for their goal), and pleasing to finally have options to rotate and actually keep competing after 70 minutes of a game (as opposed to having nothing on the bench, so just clinging on in the last quarter of games). So important we back it up with another good performance on Tuesday. Those McGuane and Bodin chances won’t feel as hard to swallow if we win…
1) Okay low down in Conference South.A fool arrives. (Is this Karl Robinson I wonder?)
1) The A league where Des has managed one club and been effective manager of another is definitely the equivalent to the EFL.
2) 7th in the table is not "mid table obscurity"

@Northernyellow keep an eye on your lad...
