Transfer News Transfer window 2020/21

I’m still hearing Garbutt being mentioned by the so called itk club. Think the Messi deal is off though.

We have definitely spoken to Garbutt, Maddison and Winnall (or at least their representatives).

I'd doubt we have the salary cap wiggle room left to sign all 3 (without some departures).

Garbutt has talked to numerous clubs so is fishing for best deal.
I imagine Maddison might be seen as a risk due to his seemingly negative reputation.
Winnall has had some recent injury affected seasons (knee ligament injury killed a loan at Derby) but was prolific the last time he was in L1.

As of this morning, I don't think any were done deals with contracts inked. Not to say that they aren't close though.

I would certainly give Marcus Maddison a chance. He isn't the nicest of blokes by all accounts, but Robinson works well with big characters and the reality of being out of work at 26 might be the wake up call he needs. On his day, he is the very best league one has to offer.

I'm not as made up with Sam Winnall. Great at Scunthorpe and Barnsley, but has struggled a bit since, especially with a nasty injury. In fairness, the same can be said of Grigg, and Norwood got most of his goals in the conference so you could pick faults anywhere if you wanted.

Expected things to run into next week, but it's at least encouraging so far that the standard of those we're talking to is as high as this.

I see Browne wasn’t in the boro squad last night any chance he might of fallen out with warnock already also how about Whyte playing second striker to Taylor didn’t do to bad in that position last night for Ireland
 
Doubt we will get Maddison. Been linked with a moves to the US and Belgium. Pleased if we have at least asked the question though.
