Chairman Rad ox 5 min ff with oufc owner

I probably shouldn't care but the fact that our Chairman's wife keeps liking the Reading twitter feeds about their win yesterday does grate a bit. Perhaps it's just Tiger then who 'loves Oxford United' as per one of his recent statements.

Does she still have a stake in Reading? Genuine question.

She’s a person, not just Tiger’s wife. She can like whatever she pleases. No idea if there is any stake in the club still.

Tiger is a member of the board of directors of Reading FC

But he is still an active director of RFC PROP CO LIMITED, which I presume is 'Reading Football Club Property Company'...

I assume that is the company that took control of some of the surrounding commercial land at the Madejski.

What, so he got involved in the club, got some land out of it, then got out? That sounds like something I've heard somewhere before....

Yep except Reading FC still have the stadium unlike us.

Tiger was there yesterday and didn’t seem too bothered about the fans frustrations, so feel it was a missed opportunity to at least have had one banner in the north stand asking for a little respect!

Isn’t there a song about that?!

Talking about songs/records, isn’t the pre-match playlist too wishy washy? Just wish we’d get some more upbeat music to get the crowd going. Oh, and not bloody ‘Eye of the Tiger’!

No he isn’t. Don’t be daft.

With respect, I’m not sure that’s right. Arbitration is like a faux-litigation, that takes place more in the private domain and with privately hired judges to protect the information of the parties involved. Decisions reached by the ‘judges’ are legally enforceable, but you are correct in the sense that parties usually settle. I think what you’re thinking about is mediation, which is a process based on the concept that an impartial third party helps the parties come to an agreement. Either way, I can see why this arbitration is becoming an unexpectedly prolonged ordeal.

If you are correct the Arbitrators would have made a decision.

Perhaps he cant answer or hasn't got the answers at the moment, perhaps the answer is not what we want to here...
Sometimes we need to accept that we cant know everything...If I am disappointed in anyone its the UK based team that are in management positions, we have a communications and commercial team in place who should take care of the day to day communication with fans and try and fill the ground, why have we ony promoted one league game this year with any vigour....

For me Tigers vision was clear..

He wants a sustainable club by investing youth
He wants to higher the profile and brand
He wants to take the club to the championship and will provide a budget for this
He wants to sort the ground situation out either by improved relations or moving

I don't expect to see line by line plans or weekly communications of how this will be achieved, I will though play my part and go and positively support the team every Saturday home and away.

Can this be achieved in 12 months ... of course not.
Genuine question, which part of 'his vision' as you call it has been delivered, in nearly 13 months? I'd say he's failed on all those, except the token gestures to the youth setup.

5 min ff with Neil Mcwilliams
Cash flow risk of admin? Had a few difficulties can assure fans that the owners care and have put significant funds in. Positive withbthe U23 the girls U16 and the youth. Have put in millions

Can we get more info on our other teams? The club are looking at that and will take on board and the Deena i is positive

Ultras disbanded are we colourless.? Will continue with match day experience

Are you surprised at Holmes signing for the gills?
Club not surprised sorry that he’s not in our team and probably not fit

How much is NMW involved with schools? No

Sean asked Chinese or Indian? Both

NM also agreed ...re ultras, in retrospect the whole situation couldve been handled better than it was

So the answer to the Ultras question was ‘The club made mistakes and is reflecting on that..’ How many times can the club admit to making mistakes before the accusation of rank incompetence from top to bottom is legitimately asked?!

And while I’m whinging, in a 5 MINUTE question session where the questions are limited to 4 or 5, why the effing heck did Jerome think that ‘Chinese or Curry?’ Was worth asking??
