Goodnight Vienna.

No trip to Wembley for us, as we’ve been dreadful. Certain individuals out there shouldn’t be anywhere near the football pitch. Certainly not at Lge 1 level.

Eastwood - Pants
Henry - legs have gone
Thorniley - get rid!
Stevens - very poor

All in all an all round crap night.
3 out of those 4 wouldnt be playing with everyone fit and available.

O'Donker?

This has been a really tough week. That second half was (albeit in a very different way) as hard to watch as being dismantled by Coventry at the weekend. Promotion is won based on the strength or depth of your squad and breadth of options you have available. We are absolutely bereft of those. And we have the challenge of recruiting a new #1 GK in the mix as well.

It’s a bit bleak right now.

Hats off to those 200 fans who travelled tonight. Absolute warriors.

That was horrible really from start to finish but it was a collection of players thrown together but there were senior pros in Eastwood, Thorniley, Brannagan, McEachran,
Bennett and Henry out there who should have done much better.

Too many square passes even when down 0-2 and nobody bar Goodrham trying to take on an opponent and when we try to be progressive we turn the ball over cheaply
time and time again..

It was shocking.

Don't forget that despite all the injuries, we've still won three of our last 5 league games. There's real fight in this club, the season is not over, and a couple of good signings could make all the difference.
think we need more than a couple. At least 6, hopefully 8-10

Slightly off piste, I know, but at the end of the last home game (which we actually won) I jokingly asked my oppo in the SSU whether we were safe from relegation with the 3 points over Charlton.

His reply was we needed 4 more points to be sure……….

Yep, 5th in January and can solely concentrate on the league with reinforcements en route. Sounds good to me!
