Bit dull these deadline days when your recruitment is done professionally and the squads practically in place before it starts.

Seeing what comes up last minute being a sensible monitoring thing rather than 90% of the recruitment strategy.

It’s not even like we can loan out our only senior player for a position because every one is covered.

Very pleased with the window, still concerned over the striker situation given how unproved Perkins is & GoD rawness.
If that is our business done, I would assume that the money for a striker had to be reallocated to cover for Browne's injury and a sacrifice had to be made somewhere.

Going to have the theme tune to A Prince Among Men stuck in my head all day now. Cheers
That was an interesting one. Chris Barrie, phenomenal impressionist and comedian, coming off Red Dwarf and the Brittas Empire...both fab in their own way, ending up doing a rather grating accent for an entire series. Coupled with the script not being very funny as well.

I was disappointed, it's fair to say.

The fact that a discussion has broken out on a mediocre late-90s sitcom, with the transfer window left open for only a matter of hours, is the clearest sign yet that we've absolutely smashed it this year.

Right then, thoughts on Two Point Four Children?

Not one I really got into, same as Birds of a Feather and the like.
Obscure sitcoms eh. How about...Next of Kin.

Glad I missed that one

From the Ipswich forum regarding Edwards:

He's got all the attributes to be a top end Championship player let alone L1. You'll watch him at times and think 'how on earth is this lad playing in L1'. Finding consistency and end product has been his biggest issue here - partly his issue and probably partly us having a fantastic squad at L1 level and not getting a run of games.

Manning is the perfect coach for him. Hopefully he shows some faith and Kyle can show what we all know he is capable of on a regular basis.

He's a top guy as well - will be great for the dressing room.

All sounds promising, great work by all involved (again). A striker would be the cherry on top.
