@Scotchegg

Careful posting this information will be harmful to us.

The licence/lease agreement on the Kassam is a pointless argument. There was a clause that allowed a further 25 year extension but that was removed by the landlord, and notice of termination was issued. OUFC contested this and agreed a 5 year extension that takes us to end of June 2026. OCC, CDC and judicial process that reviews this will see that this is 100% correct and that OUFC did not willingly negotiate an end to the previous agreement as is suggested.

as we will have to keep reading the same old crap “ but we haven’t seen evidence of why OUFC have to leave the Grenoble site in 2026,”and the fact where they aren’t privileged enough to see the proof will just mean the same old counter arguments from the fans. 😉

I have a 10min walk to Bicester Village Station from home.... Sod it, ain't got time for that, I'm going to drive*.

*FoSB Interlopers, I'm not really, I'll be one of the large amount of law-abiding football supporters who will be using the train to the games, something that just isn't practical at the moment. It will also mean I will be using the toilets at the ground, on the train, or at the station, so your gardens are safe as well.

I hope @OxVox and @OUSP Secretary are already in contact with the BBC (inc Rad Ox ) for the right to provide an alternative viewpoint? after all , the BBC are supposed to be unbiased ( unlike the local rag)
The local rag should be held to account I thought they had to be neutral with no political affiliation.
Colley and Ffrench have said in emails to me in the past that they aren’t a bias local rag….yeah right.

Ah but as stated by another on nextdoor train from Banbury isnt direct so they doubt anyone from Banbury would use the train from there
Someone needs to explain to them then that when you use a train for example I can go to Bicester North and walk to Bicester Village ( via a pub possibly) and get it from there or even into and out of Oxford. I will for one and I know many others from Banbury that will.

Who the hell does Middleton & co, think they are. Piddleton comes here from Kent, thinks he can tell us All what to do..
People that live away, like my boys , that are big oufc fans, & season ticket holders untill they moved. They still go to matches home & away.
Not as much as they like, but still do, can't have a say..
He really does my crust in , my mother's side of the family, are Oxford & Oxfordshire for literally centuries.

Only about 10 pubs between the stations to select from, or even take the Bicester Village shuttle bus which will save you the walk.

I was born in Kent. It's a very nice place. Garden of England, and all that. Man of Kent, that's me. If he does come back he'll have to behave.

I live in Banbury and Karen and co needn’t worry I have no intention of driving through or parking in Kidlington although having said that I will avoid using the car particularly on a Saturday when I will be using the train.

Banbury was the only place o could think of where people might drive through Kidlington, but as you say that’s very much in public transport territory so the numbers won’t be very significant.

I can’t see hordes of away fans coming off the M40 at Banbury, driving though Banbury, Adderbury and Deddington, through the countryside and then through Kidlington, that would be a bit mental and no sat nav would ever send you that way when it would add 30 minutes onto your journey.

Out of interest, how come Karen's threatening posts get to stay on Nextdoor but people like Scotchegg get banned?

Surely it is the same rules for everyone isn't it Ian?
It depends if anyone has reported them. I can't imagine many on our side doing that, they'd be too busy laughing at them.

If the Nextdoor site got rid of women called Karen threatening people it would just be tumbleweed floating across the screen.
