He looks to be very mobile and gets about. Seems comfortable on the ball when he does get it.

Todays friendly is the time and place to find that out. Friendlies are about match fitness and geting the legs ready.

Definitely, I can’t see any time where he plays in a league game this season if Beadle is 100% fit throughout the season.

Perhaps, because our whole way of playing will be affected if Eastwood is playing. That’s how it looks to me. It’s not his game unfortunately & isn’t his fault, just isn’t a modern keeper.

Not sure it's doing Golding & Negru many favours playing as a pair, look very inexperienced to me. Specially with zero protection on the left.

McGuane is passing me off already and the season doesn't start for a fortnight.

What that first half tells me is that very few of the players in this 11 are of the quality of the 11 that started yesterday. Gatlin, Negru, Smyth, McGuane and Stevens all did ok, but didn't see enough from Bodin, or Wildschutt. Golding needs a loan at National League level, not quite ready for league football yet. Woltman has looked energetic, willing to press, quick to turn. Like the look of him. Freeman not good at all. Easty a disaster waiting to happen in Manning style.
