I’m not sure why there’s this reticence about JM signing. If he does sign, then how do we know what sort of contract he’s on? I thought it was generally acknowledged that pay as you play was a good idea? Who here knows whether he’d be worth the “fee”, whatever it is?
And as for lack of goals: is that what he’d be asked to do? Nobody complained when Gorrin brilliantly tidied everything up in front of the back four. And he couldn’t hit a barn door.

Certainly looks as though JM would be suited to a deeper roll from some of the positions seen in this short video reel. Some of his outside of the boot passing looks sublime and he bosses the midfield. A solid signing and one I am excited to see in a yellow shirt.

Gorrin is prolific compared to McEachran.

One to keep tabs on is Josh Ginnelly.

Contract up this month and still yet to sign a new one at Hearts. Has come out and said his family still being in England is a big stumbling block in re-signing for them.

15 G/A's in 26 starts in Scotland last season. Lots of pace and a good dribbler.

Exactly what we need somebody who can sit and dictate play and allow Mcguane/Brannagan to get into more advanced positions.

McEachran feels like he would tick a lot of boxes and be another good signing.

I think he owns most of Kiddy too so allows him to keep.an eye on his portfolio.
Well if that’s the case then is excellent news to get the locals on side for the new stadium.

Always rated Mo Isa, another one Manning knows from his time at MK I’d be very happy with him signing as long as we got another more physical striker as well.

There are some crazy posts on here, clearly McEachran is a top quality midfielder at this level. I agree he’s had fitness issues and that would be the only concern, but the last few seasons he’s played regularly and I’m sure LM knows all about the qualities he’ll bring to the side to suit his style and approach. I’d expect another similar player to be recruited to challenge and cover the position he’ll play in as well, which will allow other midfielders we have to play to their full potential and not be held back in a role they are uncomfortable in.

As for lack of goals, how many has Mcguane scored? Clearly JM isn’t being recruited to score, but to allow others the freedom to express themselves properly in the final third.

Get where you're coming from, but McGuane needs to remember where he's left his shooting boots if that is to be effective next season. He certainly misplaced them last time out!

Only found out that Eisa had trials with us when younger.

In the nicest possible way to Gorrin, who's been a great servant to our club, I think you're probably right, his days of playing at this level are probably over. A real shame, as a fully fit Alex Gorrin would've been a great player to have in the squad.
Exactly. I feel for him. Had two massive injuries and the Same injury but on different knees. Feel for the bloke.

Ex Preston I think. One we were rumoured to be in before he moved to hearts if I remember correctly.
