I quite liked him. Took a while to pick up the pace. Wasn't put off by missing that chance Never hid. Decent touch. And looked physical. Goodness knows why KR froze him out. Ridiculous.

Yes, he did well I thought...direct and very much in the Manning mould. Decent first touch as well, if not the quickest. I suppose that could come seeing as it's the first meaningful match time he has had for ages.

Having him, Taylor and Jones out of the team/out of favour/bombed out is unfathomable. Robinson has a lot to answer for.

Seemed OK. Not a lot of pace, but if he played as a CDM (which is what I think he is) that's not too much of a problem. It would also allow Brannagan and/or McGuane a bit further forwards.

The main issue is that we’re starting to call upon him and it’s mid-March. The guy has had so little football this season.

We need all the bodies we can though. Smyth looks like he’ll have to be part of that ensemble.

Thought Smyth looked decent today especially seeing the poor guy hasn't played at all for months .

Very raw and a few mistakes but certainly not as off the pace as I expected.
