Robinson is not the man

Wow I wish u had mentioned this sooner! Like maybe once a day or something

Dave take your head out of the sand and open your eyes. Charlie makes some very good points, not always in the manner you would like sometimes, but he is just voicing his views and concerns like others.

Never said he shouldnt or doesn’t. But we all know his view on Darryl very very well. so really no need to mention it daily in every post is there. What’s done is done. He must have the best allotment amount of time spent raking over old ground

Dave is on a suck up mission for whatever reason. Look at the record when Faz took over then when Robinson took over. Can seriously say pep would have no better? Be honest

I don't need support. I'm offering up a different view of mine. If you choose to believe it's up to you. I'm not worried. Debate* it like someone dos up the page by supporting the fact that Pep achieved more points per game than Faz or Robinson has done. That's a fact. How'd you like that

Don't sell yourself short, you're offering a series of very contradictory views.

*Ah, now it's clear from context that you don't know what this word means. I refer you to my earlier comments about being earnest yet limited.

The PPG pre/post Pep's departure can probably more accurately be attributed to Jack Payne's departure than the manager's

Undoubtedly Jack was a good player, however to think that his departure was the reason for our current position is pushing it a bit. We are where we are and due to the fact that Eales sacked Pep nearly 3 weeks into the transfer window therefore giving very little time for bringing in at least one if not two strikers, tied Fazs hands. The time it took to get a replacement for Pep is also a major factor for our current plight. As good as Eales was for the club, I do believe he is responsible for all this.

f*****g Hell. I thought the "infinite number of monkeys..." thing was just a cliched phrase, yet here it is, happening before my very eyes!

On a suck up mission to who my dear? I might not always get on with Charles or share his views, but do u know what I’d take him and what he says as an Oufc fan over ur bitter trolling everyday of the week.

Dave, the last two home games saw no club directors in attendance and therefore can you tell me who is actually overseeing the running of Oxford United in what could prove to be the most significant time in our recent history? It might sound that I’m being overly concerned, but if we did go down, it could lead to a repeat of what non of us want to see. Tiger it seems will not be back in the UK until our last home game on the 28th, not a situation I find promising.

Stop making mischief when there is none - at the forum (if you were there) there was a question about this. You don't need to be the same place to successfully run a business, remote meetings, Skype are the norm. KR said that he speaks to Tiger everyday. No, I'm not worried about Tiger not being here. In fact I'd rather he was in Thailand drumming up investment.

I never ask my staff to come into the office unless they have too - most meetings are doing remotely.

Well I’m sure charlie will agree that most of the directors we had did b****r all anyway so not really any difference, I’m sure the M.D. was there and other club staff and corporate team

Flipping this on it's head; what, precisely, would you be expecting a director to do in our current situation?

It’s called hands on management, in normal circumstances it would not be an issue, but in our position I feel that it is important that the Chairman should be at all of our remaining games. Still if I’m in the minority so be it, but it does not make me a mischief maker, just a concerned customer.

I believe that under Pep we averaged 1.35 points per game, since he left .69 per game. If correct Pep was averaging twice as many points per game than any of his replacements have managed. Now where it went wrong was keeping Pep after the drumming by Wigan. The fear of relegation is the fault of mismanagement by the owner/s not Robinson or Faz. If we stay up, then we have the right man in Robinson to build for the future if given the resources he will need.

Agree, 100% he is the right man to get us up. We can win Saturday, with belief from the strikers, but as importantly, if not more, belief from Brannigan, Rothwell, Ledson, Mowatt, players who can score, but need to be more proactive going forward.
