Robinson is not the man

Yes they lost to Wimbledon . You are correct. Now let's talk about the results immediately after Robinson left.
Millman. Pep had targets lined up that were identified and in place to come in. They would have improved the squad in key areas and pushed the club on to battle for a playoff place in line with the adjusted budget supplied by Eales. All were ready to go until Eales pulled the plug which resulted in tensions and from that moment only one was going to survive.

Stop! My aching sides! I didn't think you could get any funnier!

You’re completely right, pep would have had us in the playoffs, we’ve made a massive mistake. And now it is what it is and you were right all along! Is that what u wanted ? Now like you’re beloved hero why don’t u f**k off and start telling Birmingham fans how it isn’t his fault if they get relegated as well

I've asked you several times, but you have dodged the question. Why did Pep sign so many players that were not good enough for L1?

You really are crackers BorntobeYelledat & you must be being paid to carry on posting crap!. Clotet had no such plans & he expected to be sacked immediately following the Wigan debacle - the fact he wasn't could prove to be crucial & was DE's fault. KR is an honest & trusted man above all before you consider him as a coach/manager & he will keep us up (just).

Sarge you didn't come back to me about Charlton and their immediate up turn in results after Robinson left
yes they won a couple, with players and backroom staff assembled by KR (a bit like Pep inheriting MApps players and backroom staff at OUFC as the start of this campaign? )...and now that Charlton have LOST...to AFC Wimbledon, so are not unbeaten since KR left... KR chose to step down at Charlton due to issues with the owners, something most Charlton supporters are also concerned about- rightly so too!

Can't reveal names as some of them moved on to other clubs that were second choice.
Actually if this is the case of course you can name names. It's immaterial to either the club or the player.

You say Pep had a list but we have no proof. What we do have is the players he did sign, which taken as a whole have been very poor. Therefore I think you will find it hard to persuade us that Pep's new list was loads better than his last. You claim that it was down to budget that we couldn't sign certain players I have no idea what our budget is but I will be surprised if it was not a top half budget. In which case the signings Pep did make even on this budget seem very poor business.

KR says he has a list also and that it is very exciting. Again though I will judge it by who he actually signs. Pep could have written the whole Man City first team on the list but it doesn't make it real or affordable. So we can only judge him by who he bought in and as I said he made an absolute hash of that.

No one could have taken over that squad and got them immediately winning. It takes time to turn the bus. He has one job - to drag us over the line over the next few games and then we can then judge the new squad next year. Judging him on our performances since he arrived is unfair and futile - if we stay up he has performed miracles if you ask me.

That’s it. Finished with this place.

How this non-OUFC supporting troll is allowed to continue here is totally beyond me. We have enough of our own supporters that like to undermine the club, at every opportunity, without allowing someone desperately hoping for us to fail to continue.

Stunned that he’s allowed to continue

OY, over and out.

I understand your frustration but hope you don’t leave the forum because of anti-OUFC troll.

Mods, please note OxfordYankee’s reason .

Why on earth if you were a real supporter would you start a thread like this early on in a new mangers time at the club ?

KR is a good talker yes and fair play to him he's animated on the side lines he speaks sense and I truly believe he wants to be here long term and build us up

Everyone needs to be behind the club now blind love is what's needed to get us through to the end threads like this are counter productive

It is a forum so spelling and grammar are not at the top of the to do and to get right Li st. The messsge gets across so that's all that matters.

Robinson knows exactly what he's doing, that's why he's putting these sound bites out. He's got a free run at the moment with the fans and club officials so he's using that as his opportunity to buy himself sometime whilst results are very poor.

I know from an insider at the club that Tiger is very unimpressed with the start he's made after being sold a totally different story. Robinson knows the pressure is on so its classic defective tactics by him. Something anyone close to Charlton will tell you all about.

I know from an insider on here 99% think you’re a dick head.

Back when pep was sacked Oxford fans were told they would go down and it was a massive mistake. Many laughed, many disbelieved, many abused. I guess this time next week this forum will be full of apologistic posters.

Remind me, who told us this?
