I've got an idea, play it tomorrow!Tiesday 16th March is the earliest available date for both clubs.
It certainly doesn’t seem like we’ve had extreme weather. You could just move the game to a training ground were it not for the need to broadcast itA local referee can decide however.
Yellow rain warning for Blackpool area Monday and Tuesday ... so maybe they wont be? And maybe they'll get a taste of a waterlogged pitch calling a match off too?
As said previously, a local ref, called off very early (no fans travelling), and what effort made to drain the pitch or cover it?The club can’t do that, there needs to be a ref there to decide
Quote from their forum,Even cobblers fans are questioning the postponement over on their forum

Very very early call , no fans, close to travel to ...not exactly busted a gut to get it on .
Cheating, I hope they go downQuote from their forum,
"When was the last time we had a postponed fixture at home? I remember we have managed to get games on in some shocking conditions in seasons gone by. The cynic in me agrees that we are probably trying to buy some time for players to get fit etc.
Not that its a bad thing, we need our best XI available at all times if we are going to stay up!"
Exactly.
...and EFL are doing f**k all...and will do f**k all ... Parry is toxicIt was bound to happen at some point when they train on there pitch so much. In times like this where postponements are so common training on your pitch should be banned. 1 league game by the 23rd January. We’re being done over by other side incompetence this season.
very trueNo chance. Blackpool aren't a tinpot club like Northampton. Their pitch takes a battering from the weather all year round, they are use to it.
I guess 25 people forking the pitch for the next 2-3 hours would do it, but we have the social distancing “Covid” factor preventing it I guess.
