For the 27th time: he said he WANTS to sign a player. He didn't say that he IS signing a player. I want you to shut up. That doesn't mean that you will though, does it?

Then maybe he should just keep quiet or at limit it to we would like to bring in a player that we feel improves us if we can. None of this we WANT to bring one in and start placing timescales on when that will happen. That’s when supporters, fans or anyone else that cares starts believing something is close (or not as is the case). If Robinson talks the way he does then it leaves him open to people questioning why deals aren’t getting done. He is the one who mentions timescales, the minute he does that people are going to assume something is happening then when it inevitably doesn’t they will quite rightly question why not.

As I said, he could just say we would like to bring in a player if we feel he improves us. He doesn’t need to put a timescale of today, tomorrow or Thursday in it. That is when people start questioning why it hasn’t happened by those days. I’m not one of the ones who are questioning but can totally see why people would. He’s damned by the timescales he himself is saying.

Hes asked questions. He answers questions. I don't know if you're familiar with the concept of conversations/interviews but that's what tends to happen. Here's an idea: Don't hang on his every word, like your life depends on it. I'm sure he doesn't care what anyone on this forum thinks.

And as Robinson was reported to have said in the OM on the 1st Nov which assuming that was said emit the OM on the 31st October “ he wants to get free agent deal done today “ which as I said I assume that was mentioned to the OM on the 31st. So I don’t know who you’re telling to shut up but check out the OM 2nd November.

KR's signing dates: They just go in one ear and out of the other for me! Once a player is pictured and officially named by the club as having signed, it is worth discussion. Until then... pfft.
