We played some good stuff at times but again we were careless at the back, and can’t find the final pass going forward.
but it’s early days and we now have two home games, so things could look very different this time next week.
we will give someone a thrashing soon and I’m hoping it’s going to be next Saturday

I would argue not being able to score with plenty of chances is a bigger hindrance at the moment.

I thought we did well for large parts today. It was silly sloppy defensive mistakes that allowed them to score when they did. We weathered the storm early on, and grew into the game! We were yet again wasteful when our chances came, and that ultimately cost us. It was the second goal that killed us off, and was against the run of play imo.

It was always going to be a tough game, but there was some positives to take from the game moving forwards. Keep ya heads up lads! We will come good.

A few points

- defensively we are so, so, so bad.
- we pass nicely but dont do a huge amount with it
- we are absolutely streets away from the top teams in this league, our competition this season is Rochdale, Crewe etc rather than Lincoln, Sunderland etc.
- we are not going to give anyone a good thrashing anytime soon. Absolutely ludicrous . And the only person who should get said thrashing is whomever said we didnt need a new defender.
We are boring and predictable in our play.

Very sobering, as mentioned, id take 16th now.

If we had money for Browne we have money for a decent center back. Robinson needs to off load a few. Hanson? And one other.

Just to note, if players werent free agents yesterday, they cant move as a free agent. So not entirely sure where Robbo is planning to send all his duds.

Sam Long played well at cb today, as did Clare at rb. Gorrin has a job to do in the middle, and we've got a thousand options for the front 3. But let's move them all around because you can't handle a disappointing result?!
